  1. We received our Military On Board Credit for our first HAL cruise last July to Alaska. I tried to again use it for our next cruise but was told it could not be applied because it was already used. So, I guess it can only be applied to one cruise per year or for life? Thoughts? Scott
  2. I use "Incognito" - Chrome regular doesn't work for my set up. S
  3. Interesting - I get into the website using Incognito only. Scott
  4. Thank you. I did not see that thread. Scott
  5. Hi all - I must be doing something wrong as I haven't been able to log into my HAL account for the last week. I log in and it just spins and spins and spins, Thoughts? Scott
  6. Thank you for your response. On my Navigator App I have "Book Flights For your Cruise". I do not have "Book and Manage Flights" on the App. I did find the booking on the HAL website on my PC: Log In My Account, Log In, Select A Booking, My Account, My Bookings - Up Coming Cruises, Select Manage My Cruise, Flight Ease - Search Flights, Book And Manage Flights, Flight Info Shows Here. That is a long way around the barn. I thank you all for your input. I'm going to sleep on this one. 🙂 Scott
  7. Interesting. Thanks for posting. Will look into this.
  8. Thank you for your response - I have tried to follow your path but was not successful. HAL sent air booking confirmation, so I have it. Just seems weird that it is difficult to see this flight information. Scott
  9. Good day - I am wondering how to see flight information for this booked cruise. We used Flight Ease to book the round trip flights and thought we should see them somewhere on our itinerary. I did contact HAL and they verified that the flights are booked. They were not able to tell me where I might see the flight info. Any help would be appreciated. Scott
  10. Hi Haljo - Thank you for your response. I guess I'm looking for credits I have as a part of my HIA package and things I've booked and things I've already booked. We are planning two cruises with HAL right now. One in Jan '24 on the Eurodam and another later in the year onboard the Niew Statendam. It would be easier for me if there was a summary someplace for each cruise showing what I have available and what I have spent re: OBC, Excursions and Specialty Dining. I sometimes get the two confused. We only have one HAL cruise under our belt and am trying to understand how things work. Thanks again, Scott
  11. Good day all - I can not find available OBC, Specialty Dining, and Shore Excursion credits on the HAL website or Navigator for our booked cruises. I do have paper confirmations of all of that stuff, but I would guess that those items would be reflected on the website and Navigator App??? I appreciate you responses. Scott
  12. Follow - up -Update - Got through first call with a brief time on hold. 🙂 Great Agent. Answered many questions. Back on board in Jan '24.
  13. Just returned on July 8th. I did not notice an exceptional number of youngsters on this trip. We were also fixed time early - 5PM. Table for two on the rail. Scott
  14. Just a couple of thoughts - I felt my above post might be mis understood - Having been back for 7 days - The Observation Deck 11 was wonderful. The Coffee Bar Baristas were great. Sometimes they are quite busy. We found the lounge chairs just behind the glass a great place to read and chat. They do have a couple of fogged glass panels. I presume they will be replaced soon. If the chairs are full grab a table and a drink and wait for one to open up. The chairs aren't a comfy but the view is just as good. Many play board games and cards in this area. No food there but the Lido is only a couples of decks below. We overlooked a jazz/trio that were pretty good. Oceans Bar I think. A bit more of a "Reserved" group. Wish we had found out about it sooner. Just a quick note about the MDR Staff - They are terrific. Our needs were anticipated. The food was Flavorful cooked just the way you like it. Sauces were great. We passed on the bread as were trying to limit our caloric intake. We did break down and have some rolls during our last dinner. Mmmmm. The Cabin Staff were also terrific. We did leave a bit for our Table Captain and our Cabin Steward. I can not think of one instance, on this vessel, where we were not met with a smile, and express their eagerness to assist - from stem to stern. We did enjoy this trip to Alaska and the Eurodam. We will be on her again this Jan. out of Ft Lauderdale. Different cabin though. Scott
  15. I did not wish to imply that the ship was dirty or unkempt. It was nice and clean wherever we went.
  16. Just got off on July 8th. The food is very good in the MDR and Lido. Always a nice combination of Mains and Starters. Deserts were quite good. I also enjoyed the hand carved meat at lunch at Lido. Different roasted meat every day. The service was very good in the MDR, and the ship is comfortable to be on. Her age is showing but she is a nice vessel. We found all staff to be friendly and attentive. We will be back on her Jan 24.
  17. We booked HAL direct. Our original PCC has left the company. Our new PCC has not called us yet. I have no more questions to ask. Am interested to see how long it will be until someone returns my calls. We depart Houston tomorrow via Alaska Air at 9am. Staying at the Mayflower downtown, and spending the day visiting tourist places in Seattle. We lived in Gig Harbor for many years so we are pretty familiar with the Seattle sights. Will try for lunch at a small French Restaurant near Pikes Place and probably visit the Museum of POP Culture as well as walking Pikes Place and get some fresh donuts around the corner. We are quite excited about this trip and looking forward to getting on board and settling in. Scott
  18. It might be that Carnival is trying to squeeze costs out of the process. "Many times one does not know what one might have until it is lost." In this case, Inability to respond to customer's phone requests in a timely manner and lost customers/profits. My guess is that management is aware of the problem and they are waiting to see how it impacts their bottom line. It does cost money to pay for competent customer service personnel - but what is the actual load? Squeeze until it hurts. That might be why I have not received those calls. In my case we may jump ship....... Anyway, Thanks all for your comments. We might meet sometime on the poop deck.😊 Scott
  19. Hi Ruth C - Thank you for your comment. Before I joined this group yesterday, I had been lurking here for a few days. And Yes, I have found many useful nuggets on this forum, and lots of information too. Reading posts on this Forum did answer the important questions I had. I think the poor phone service drove me to you all. I am accustomed to having my phone calls answered and messages returned. Scott
  20. Thanks for all of your input. I do not want to beat this to death, but it is encouraging/discouraging to hear that this is not a new issue. We'll get through this. Scott 🙂
  21. Thank you for your posts. Did not realize that one was emergencies and Flight Ease. My error. We also called 877.932.4259, so my phone says. Scott
  22. Thank Haljo1935. All of my calls were made during West Coast Pacific time. I hope we will enjoy the cruise too. Scott
  23. Thanks for your comment Carolyn, I can only guess that they are understaffed and very busy. Scott
