We got off an Italy Greece cruise on Odyssey (brand new) and I caught a cold that lasted for 3 days. On a Europe cruise with my Mom in 2019, I caught a wicked 7 day cold. I believe the stress of travel has a hand in getting sick. It definitely weakens my immune system. Traveling with my Mom was more stressful and I was a lot sicker on our post-cruise in Rome!!

We made a decision to try an Explora Journeys cruise. We were comparing the Retreat with a similar Europe itinerary (and Oceania). It's port intensive and the ship seems to be a better option for rest and relaxation. The retreat started at >14k for the Magic Carpet Sky and we reserved a Villa on the Explora II for about the same price. I realize it's a new ship and we are early 50s and haven't had much exposure to smaller ships. We are well versed in Royal, Celebrity, Holland, and NCL suite products, and they were always fine for our needs. Now if we fall in love with a smaller and exclusive ship, we will probably try other cruise lines. You are not alone noticing Celebrity pricing.

Hello, Just booked a cruise a week ago (July 26) and yesterday (July 31) booked a GTY suite and the price dropped substantially just this morning. The cost is still pending on my credit card. We are 500-60 days before sailing but we never put a deposit but just paid in full. We have the new receipt from yesterday. I feel so stupid I just did this suite booking yesterday. New to Royal Caribbean, does anyone have any guidance on this situation? Thank you in advance!
