If you want to do this I would drop your bags with a porter and then Uber/taxi to where you want to go. Space Needle and Pike Place Market are several miles away. I don't recall anything interesting near the pier in Seattle.

Well here I go... just got off the Explorer

We were on Explorer in April/May and If it was the same people singing at the entrance to the Windjammer they were great. We did traditional dining at 5:30 to avoid the waits and my wife loves having the same waiters every night. The two we had on Explorer were outstanding. Missed the turn down service but our steward kept the room spotless and handled all our requests. -
This shouldn't be so hard. On Royal Caribbean I can choose two cabins with the number of passengers in each. When I select "connecting" it brings up available connecting cabins and you book both at once. Princess needs to improve this on their website. Hope you get the cruise booked.

Had E107 on Discovery to Alaska last year. The obstruction is the balcony railing is solid instead of transparent. Didn't bother us and the balcony is large. Would grab it again if available.
