I spoke to my TA who refunded after a few days, they just had to speak to MSC.

We bid for an upgrade last year, but YC was closed I assume because the ship was running so low on passengers. And we didn't have a drinks package either, hoping this is epic!

Will do. Are you YC? We had a med cruise with Msc last April and there were still covid tests in place but the ship had about 500 people on it and we weren't YC.

Can I just double check, we have an embarkation time of 5pm and we are booked in a YC room. Can I turn up at 10am?

I don't think they liked it! For what I paid I think it sounds great.

On the second attempt I have now obtained YC upgrade for £870 for our cruise on the 24 Nov. Plus the £670 each that is about £1100 each, deluxe junior suite. The tripadivisor reviews are not great but I hope the ship isn't full as we are just before the ship gets decorated for Christmas. Will report back wehn we get onboard. At least we can get onboard at 10am rather than 5pm as we are YC now.

Is there a white night, or have I bought all these white clothes for nothing 🙂 We are onboard on the 24th November, feeling a bit nervous about it we have the spa booked and no YC for us it was £850 per person to upgrade. We paid £1300 for both of us inside cabin and premium drinks. We have booked a Brugge bus from just outside the port gates for eu29 return. I have just checked and I can upgrade to YC suite for £870 for both of us, any comments if this is worth it over the inside cabin we have booked? Thanks for the posts!

Thanks for the posts! We are booked on at the end of November for the north European cruise, and excited to hear your feedback. We have booked the spa on your recommendation, so no pressure 🙂 We have the premium extra drinks package which looked a bargain for £29 a day each.
