H2OH!

We are also on board. Burger during embarkation was good but the fries are not the same. Dumped on the plate and tasted bad. DH and I both left the fries when we typically devour them. Just for kicks we ordered the berry cobbler for dessert. The crumble Had the texture of sand, was dry and had an odd taste. It was so bad we laughed out loud…like what in the world is happening. Lol dinner last night and tonight were good. day 5 and 6 dinner menus are completely unappealing to us so when we boarded we tried to get in Eden for our 27th anniversary. Was told the retreat host had to check. Keep in mind we were one of the first people on board by 11:10 am. Learned today that they are sold out and too bad for us. Hmmm….we are elite plus (half way to zenith) and in suite where we allegedly get priority. We’ve never had this problem before…. Board and get reservations…those days appear to be over. They called tonight with an 8 pm cancellation but passed. Our butler told us due to online reservations, they are sold out and that they don’t hold as many slots for suites like they use to. She brought us chocolate covered strawberries tonight which is a nice gesture. we shall see how the rest of the week goes!!

Thank you for sharing. I was reading negative comments about Beyond from a FB group currently sailing. I am looking for sailing her in 3 weeks!

We have not sailed an Edge class ship yet. Had Apex booked January 2022 but bad covid spike so cancelled---- wish we hadn't but here we are. Actually worked out to our advantage by joining this sailing on a really new ship with a few updates to the design!

So excited for you and looking forward to following along! We are on the 11/27 Beyond Sailing and am so excited! We are in a sky suite for this sailing- we almost exclusively sail in a sky suite but the prices have soared so may have to rethink that! Amy

they were doing it if you follow any of the covid threads. maybe they have now stopped it.

We are recovering from Covid as we speak and have a cruise the end of November 2022. Even though we don't have to test to get on the ship, we thought about contact tracing and decided we would bring copies of our recent positive tests AND letter of recovery just in case we have to be tested with the contact tracing. It sounds good in theory so hoping would work out in the event we have to test for some reason and are still testing positive from our recent bought of covid.

so sorry to hear this. One would think all the kinks have been worked out by now! If they are overrun with Covid cases, I can see how it gets out of hand in a hurry but they are sure happy taking your money for the cruise with certain promises. Feel better soon.

Eze is spectacular. When we were up top, we saw a couple get engaged. It was one of those extra special and unexpected events when sitting atop the eagles nest :). The climb up is not for the faint of heart that is for sure! Following along. Thank you for taking the time to share your trip. I tried once when we were in Alaska but was so busy vacationing the "live blog" when silent. LOL.
