We had the exact same cabin layout as you and they are fabulous. Ours was a bit creeky at night so hope you don't suffer the same fate. Our Junior Butler Eder was incredible. Kept the room immaculate.

If the environment is important to you, you may want to consider not ordering a paper. I swear 8 trees were felled for each paper we received 😂

Those cats are adorable! Masters of the Sea seems to have been resolved with the earlier opening time however, if they go back to 5pm opening, the first hour is complete carnage as Brits fight for a drink, not our proudest moment... Carousel, oh my. The Big Band and the singers are superb, the venue however is frustrating. No seats by 8pm for the 9:30 show and nobody leaves, just sit there for the second show. So either forget your evening to get a seat or be prepared to stand by the bar. I really wished they'd do something about the theatre and refuse entry once the show starts, but they don't so just be prepared for people wandering past and into the YC section for the first half of the show.

The ship is absolutely stunning but there are some tricks so that you can enjoy the whole ship.

I hope you have the best time when you join tomorrow. We've been thoroughly spoilt in YC and have to say this is probably the cleanest a room has ever been kept anywhere we've stayed. The junior butler is incredible.

If you want YC on one of these sailings your best chance is through the upgrade channels once booked. It was half the price of that quoted at the time we initially booked.

Even better news they keep changing the opening times of Masters of the Sea, yesterday was 1pm, today 2pm. A massive improvement over 5pm previously.

Having a great time so far, you just have to learn where to avoid at certain times. We're at the front of the ship so the crashing and creaking is certainly real. Fortunately I don't feel ill with rough weather, however my wife does. Dinner for one is peaceful however lol.

I'm not usually a clothing snob, let people be however... On Euribia and seeing multiple people (not young) wearing jogging bottoms to dinner does frustrate somewhat. And yes, I know this is a me problem!!

We watched that a couple of days ago and the whole video felt like they were trying to find a fault with every part of the holiday. Nothing balanced and also heavily weighted towards their experience as a vegetarian. Guess we will see for ourselves in 9 days time!

If only we could get a refund on the drinks package we paid for when we booked the cruise initially 😂
