  1. The only time I’ve been in Port Everglades was when I was on the Crystal Symphony when it was arrested and we were quite violently Catamaranned into the port the next day. No idea which terminal but it was a little grim. It was however my only appearance so far on an American news Chanel (that I’m aware of). Sorry I can’t help.
  2. I Believe, similar to Fred, they have ample”refrigerated stowage” down below TTS.
  3. That’s an awful lot of baby cow JP! Congratulations on finishing it.
  4. Very similar here Lois. We’ve had days of mizzle but it was glorious today.
  5. I Must say Lola that my girls are utterly devoted to me as am I to them. They follow me around everywhere and get very stressed if they don’t know where I am. Kitty (the mum, left) in particular thinks she is a dog. If anyone goes to fuss her she rolls straight onto her back to have her tummy tickled. Every time we take the dogs for a walk the cats come with us. I Think I’m just very blessed with the cats that have chosen to spend their lives with us. Rose West (the daughter, right) has an opinion on everything, murders creatures constantly, her greatest achievement was a stoat, can’t figure out how to kill hedgehogs yet and chases dogs when she doesn’t like the cut of their jib. Butter wouldn’t melt though. Rosie doesn’t even acknowledge that my Partner exists. He can walk right past her calling her name and she doesn’t hear a thing. He can spend hours getting her in at night. I Only have to call her name and she comes running.
  6. He's super cute MissSophia but a little b(e)ggar. He identifies as a Lion. Anything you tell him to do you get that look that implies that if he he'd two fingers... before he goes off and does completely the opposite. His condition makes him even more endearing. He's forever trying to escape and when he does manage it he actually looks like he's laughing as he skips and bounces along. What do they say about dogs and owners? We recently went to the Eglwysbach show and he scritched his belly half way around the show ground on the freshly cut dry grass having the time of his life. IMG_5799.MOV
  7. Mr Henry and Miss Roxie both look adorable. Collie/Lab is a wonderful mix MissSophia, makes for a lovely dog. Terry, are you braced for the terrible two’s? My Bertie is in the midst of them right now, little terror.
  8. I have one cat in Particular, called Rose West (look it up), that has the sharpest instinct for such people. She’s extremely aloof unless of course they utter one of two fatal phrases. The first being I Dont like cats, the second being I’m allergic. They are the only people she ever goes to. Good girl Rose.
  9. I’d disagree tfred. I Recently took my first Celebrity cruise in January and had an amazing time. I Booked it because of itinerary and also not being fleeced as a solo. Where they have got it so wrong is the utter arrogance of the scheme. They really believe their “esteemed guests” are thicker than slurry. They should have introduced a scheme with level points across the board. This many Silversea nights equals this many points, this many Celebrity nights equals this many and so on. Insulting your guests that have spent the most by offering them absolutely nothing whilst offering huge upgrades to those that have spent very little really isn’t a great strategy. Laziness and greed. It is the most bizarre loyalty scheme that I have ever witnessed and indeed the only loyalty scheme I’ve ever seen that encourages their biggest spenders to just walk away.
  10. I Thought it meant the ship returned to the Port it was registered in? Isn’t she registered in the Bahamas?
  11. I For one was referred to the Liverpool school of tropical Medicine after that cruise. I’d like to say it’s the easiest 3 stone I’ve ever lost but really it wasn’t.
  12. Try catching a virus in Egypt one time HostJB, highly recommended. The Drugs are a bit free and easy out there. One of our shipmates on a Nile Cruise was a little surprised on the dance floor on Egyptian night when a green triangle suddenly appeared down the back of her galabiyas whilst she was trying to pick up a balloon between her cheeks. She never left her cabin again. The bar staff were obviously well accustomed to such incidents as within seconds they had mopped it all away and the jollities continued.
  13. I was only teasing Lola, there’s nowt wrong with cheese on toast. One of my favourite suppers when I’m not on the Keto. I Sometimes live dangerously and have 2 slices. 1 with L&P and one with HP. I’m proper Rock n roll me 🥳
  14. I Thought that was on Tuesday MissSophia? That's just cheese on toast Lola 🙂
  15. How dare you Host JB! 😉! i’m only 49 and twelve quarters(long story but I’ll never be 50 till I get to Venice).
  16. Heard tonight that someone very local to here has contracted Mpox in Cape Verde and was locked in a cell in the Hospital with an ablutions bucket. Switchometer 97% now.
  17. The crew and even their families certainly do. I Had one particular Chef sought me out on the ship close to tears because his wife had messaged him and told him about what I’d posted on here about his amazing talent. I’m not entirely sure anyone further up the food chain bothers. Even if they did, I’m not sure they are left with very much room to wiggle in their new corporate jackets.
  18. One nice juicy chop does me. I Had an M&S Tomopork last night WWFT. It was Luvilly.
  19. Sounds lovely M. Ive got some special Keto pasta I can use for this. Of Course, with my raging vegaphobia, I'd need a hefty pork chop on the side though. Will report back.
  20. The cooler gets Hot again. Where did that come from?
  21. https://youtu.be/YGCsZ2OCJwA?si=lwbhh212c4BAjxbo
  22. I Remember your adventure very well M. I Feel that the itinerary may be a little lacking in architectural and cultural splendour but have to offset that against how much fun I had on the Symphony last time, until we were arrested of course. But that wasn’t a dampener really.
  23. I Do have to be back by the 31st JP. I’m stretching it already by 9 hours.
