Have you ever tried Nanny Oggs' famous recipe for carrot and Oyster Pie Jeff? Carrots so you can see in the dark and oysters so you've got something to look at.

Wonderful QSS. I’ve spent the last 20 years encouraging a colony of painted ladies in my turret. A Statement that could easily be misconstrued. They return all over my second (3rd) floor in the Autumn to overwinter. I Gently move them into the turret before they are fully dormant and they all disappear in the spring again. Beautiful beasties that they are.

Oh they’re not blue jeans Jeff, they’re a very nice mustardy gold and very nicely cut. I don’t wear after shave day to day but do when I’m going out. Tiffany, Dylan blue, Fragonard, Ferragamo, Tom Ford and Bulgari are my faves.

It was lovely, not a particularly grand hotel but the suites on the front were very pleasant and the balconies great for people watching.

I Believe it's Wetherspoons now on Foregate Street. It was an amazing steak Restaurant in the 1980s.
