  1. It was the same as last week's Regal.
  2. Yes, you can use OceanNow to deliver to your cabin, or almost anywhere else on the ship.
  3. With what I have learned today, I now want to know if the pineapple was upside down...
  4. One small magnet would not be an issue. But, how far does it go and do you put the cabin stewards in charge of the decision process? Can I cover my whole door with magnets? How about the walls on either side? Can I use materials besides magnets? I would guess that Princess thinks it's easier to just ban everything
  5. It will give me practice for when I move to the Villages with my loofahs!
  6. What if you have the premier package where two SD are included?
  7. We booked a GTY on our upcoming March cruise and are pleased with the room assignment. It is the category we booked.
  8. Disney shows movies (and occasional sporting events) all day and evening on their pool screen unless there is a special activity like pirate night. However, no special seat covers or free popcorn. There is free ice cream and soft drinks.
  9. I think the duck thing is relatively new to Disney. We have sailed with them since 1998 and do not recall ever hearing about ducks pre-Covid. DCL considers the ducks a safety issue as there were reports of people placing them on lifeboat davits, near the anchor chains, and some being found in the plumbing, It is my understanding that if crew members find them they just throw them away. One person did report that she had a large bag of ducks that was confiscated by security before she boarded.
  10. For our Regal cruise out of Galveston, the boarding time is 10:30 - 2:00. If we are not planning to try and reserve the Sanctuary, are there any other advantages to boarding early? I assume the staterooms will not be available at 10:30. We generally prefer to board when staterooms are available so we can drop out carry-ons off right away and not have to drag them around. We have a reserved parking space, so not concerned about that.
  11. They look like they are right next door to each other. Is there a big difference?
  12. Disney does not have drink packages. We have not sailed out of Galveston since pre-Covid, but if I recall correctly the bars were not open until we were a few miles out. Disney does allow each adult to bring 2 bottles of wine and a 6 pack of beer, so probably enough for most folks on the first afternoon.
  13. Tagging on to this question. We did order ours, how will we know if they have been sent? And, if they do not arrive, can we just pick them up at the port?
  14. Could you do that in the app, or did you need to go to the location?
  15. I understand that, but these venues also have an extra change, whereas the quick service locations and buffet do not.
  16. We were able to make reservations for the specialty restaurants and the MDRs in the app, but wanted to ask about the casual locations like Alfredo's. Do you just show up and wait, or can you make reservations once you are onboard?
  17. I am not aware of any line requiring masks or proof of vaccination (unless required by a port country), but people who test positive for Covid on a cruise are still being quarantined. But, perhaps that is not what you meant by enforcing restrictions.
  18. Thank you for the offer. It's the Regal in March.
  19. My sister and I have a cruise stop in Roatan and she is going scuba diving. She has lots of experience with this and I do not, so I am not going. I would like to tour Roatan and see some of the island and perhaps go to a beach resort. But, I am nervous about booking a non-cruise tour on my own. Have any of you ever taken a tour with Victor Bodden on your own? I have seen some other tour companies, but am not really interested in riding a bus with 50 other people. Thanks for any insight.
  20. Thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed! Cash it is!
  21. Hi all, we are first-time Princess cruisers (lots of previous HAL and Disney). I want to make sure I understand the gratuities with the package to make sure we don't shortchange anyone. The added gratuities on drinks are included, but can we add an additional tip? We enjoy talking to the bartenders. Do you tip for room service delivery or is that covered by the Ocean Now fee? We are aware of the casual dining benefit. Do we tip those servers? We will have some cash for excursions. Any other need for cash on board the ship? We don't wish to put a crew member in an awkward position if they are required to refuse a tip. Thanks!
