I appreciate the perspective, thank you! You're right about the Panoramic lift being nearly private...thinking about the 2 weeks we spent on the Seascape/Seashore, I think we used that an elevator a combined total of once (and that was just to say we did it).

I appreciate the perspective, thank you! I read online this week that the Sports Bar has gone to beer only on all the Sea-ships so that makes that venue much less attractive to me unfortunately. It sounds like you've done all the Sea-ships! We've done the Seascape and Seashore, but neither of the older two.

@APDMOM This was a most excellent Live...thank you! I apologize for resurrecting a dead thread but I'm currently trying to decide if we'd rather do another week on the Seascape or if we'd rather try a new ship, the Seaside, and experience a new ship instead (even though it is older). Which would you recommend between the two? The Seaside has a slight edge in my mind currently since we've never been on the ship, but it seems like the two ships are extremely similar so that may not matter much.

I'm looking at booking an MSC cruise as we speak but the next one won't be until January/February unfortunately... My son is very serious about his football (for an 8 year old) and I'm one of the coaches so the only cruise we're doing during the season is a 4-day (Mon-Fri) on Utopia of the Seas so we don't miss any games. I'll look for the answer in September!

As a proper southerner, I have trouble believing a European cruise line could make proper grits, but I'll give them a try the next time we're on MSC to see for myself.

I can't speak for others - but I can say that nothing about this conversation from my side was directed at you. I see lots of parents making comments like this and it just doesn't align with my personal parenting style. Who knows which is right and which is wrong - we only get one chance to raise our kids and I'm just hoping I do a good enough job to raise responsible, kind young adults!

I'm about 97% sure there's a slide (but not a water slide). This is actually the first time I'm realizing this is even possibly controversial...everything I had read said there is a slide (including what was copy/pasted above from the other poster). With that said - I'm sure it's not a very exciting slide.

I think it just means we're getting old. Back in my day, we walked uphill both ways to school barefoot and in the snow! We're officially becoming our parents 😂
