  1. Why would deck 11 forward not be particularly popular? Nice views from high up and no ugly QM2 lifeboats to look at! I think deck 11 forward would be lovely.
  2. They have now all posted to the US website to view as well
  3. Would you guess all the cancellations resulting from the rerouting have been processed by Cunard by now? Or I wonder if more “new” availability is to come as more cancellations get processed?
  4. Looking at that Singapore-Cape Town leg right now on the US website, amazing too that balcony cabins are currently cheaper than oceanview.
  5. I have to imagine there are going to be a LOT of empty cabins after they sort through and process all the cancellations for voyages beginning in Singapore. Or am I wrong in thinking so?
  6. This is P1 (zero OBC) in US dollars for the Singapore to Cape Town segment.
  7. When the pricing of the formerly known as 15 day Singapore to Dubai M408 segment (now known as the 21 day Singapore to Cape Town segment) comes out, I am envisioning very low pricing. It strikes me as a challenging new itinerary to fill up last minute.
  8. Cunard website (USA version at least) slowly updating with the new itineraries https://www.cunard.com/en-us/find-a-cruise/M408/M408
  9. How exactly did they do this? Was there some kind of Cunard reimbursement request form that you filled out and mailed in with a copy of your expenses?
  10. Cunard seems to be handling this very well then!
  11. Here is your answer regarding the Singapore to Dubai leg —
  12. And if indeed QM2 departed Colombo on March 31 and followed QV’s path, what then would the most likely date be that QM2 would arrive in Cape Town? This logically would become the new segment itinerary for all those getting on in Singapore (in what was supposed to be a 15 night itinerary).
  13. How long before the sailing date did she find out her bid was accepted? Thank you
  14. And this was for a world voyage segment that you won the upgrade for the minimum bid plus $5? That is really outstanding, congrats!
  15. Would anyone be willing to share their Cunard “bid to upgrade” recent results? (Including your voyage date or month would be helpful as well.) If your offer was accepted, how close to the minimum bid was your accepted offer? Or, alternatively, how close to the maximum bid was your accepted offer? How close to the sailing date were you informed that your bid had been accepted?
  16. The end result under that hypothetical would result in a much longer than 15 night voyage for those getting on in Singapore then, if my math is correct. Would Cunard expect those who paid for “just 15 nights” to now pay additional since the trip would become much longer?
  17. I am on the Singapore to Dubai segment. What is the general consensus as to how that segment will most likely play out? Get on in Singapore as originally scheduled (March 23, 2024) but then off in Cape Town instead of Dubai . . . with the itinerary staying as planned up until Sri Lanka (March 31, 2024), then skipping Doha and Dubai and instead going straight to Cape Town from Colombo)? Would this proposed detour likely add days to what is supposed to be a 15 night voyage?
  18. Very curious about this myself. Would anyone share based on their personal experience?
