Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Thank you @mking8288 and @Panhandle Couple. Business casual is what I'd describe they wore. But taking that down to resort casual makes packing a lot easier. Thanks!
  2. I've got an off-topic question about POA. What's the dinner dress like? I saw someone's YouTube of their trip and they said dinner was dressy. The woman had tea length or maxi length dresses and the husband had a jacket and slacks. My experience in Hawaii has been more island casual. But perhaps the boat is a little more traditional dinner style? Thanks y'all! 🙂
  3. This is the first I've heard of this. I'm booked to go in a couple of weeks and this definitely makes me sad. But to ask those who have sailed since this change, did you find that you could book snorkel, raft tours in Kauai and get to those docks and back to the ship in time? I'm wondering if with the later departure on the second day, if a morning Na Pali Coast snorkel/raft tour would allow me to get back to the ship in time if the boat slip is about an hour away. Thank you for the tips!
  4. I booked through Turo for Maui and Kauai. We’ll see how it goes.
  5. Thank you! I wondered if it was a non-cruise sponsored excursion if we would be stuck. I forgot about the sunrise at the crater!
  6. My sail date is in April. I’m sorry to hear about the non-refundable excursion. The ship not making it is out of your control. I’m not sure if it’s been asked, but on the overnight ports, how early can you get off the ship on the second morning? If you wanted to leave at 5 am on day 2 of Kauai or Maui, is that allowed or do you have to wait for a certain time to get off? Thank you
  7. Lol! Thank you all! I probably knew better than to ask. I’ve only been on Royal Caribbean cruises, and wasn’t sure what to expect from Norwegian. It’s likely I’ll be too pooped to do much more than sleep after full days on the islands.
  8. Hi all - for POA Hawaiian cruise, I’ve read about a white night, neon night and 80s night. Can anyone verify if these were on your cruise and if so, did anyone dress for the theme? Is there any music/dancing on this boat? Thank you!
