Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. There is a huge free parking lot just north of the ship near the Peanut Island shuttle. At least some cruise passengers appeared to park there, but I was told cruisers are not permitted to park there and their cars may get towed.
  2. They told me on the ship that this area is open to the public, and I took a nice long walk there. There are a few small sandy beach areas. Not many people in the area. The Google map calls the restaurant Pier One but the sign on the door says La Casa.
  3. Hello, When I took the MAS cruise last month, I noticed what seemed to be a nice shore area within walking distance of the ship, just south of Pier One restaurant (see attached map). It had beautiful cliffs and looked like a nice place for a long walk (see attached photo). I saw a few people from the ship walking in the area, but not many. I have not found any info at all about this area. Anyone know anything about it? Is it private property or is there some other reason to avoid the area? I'm going back next week. Thanks, gc
  4. Hello, Are there any alternatives to the $57 valet parking for MAS at the Port of Palm Beach? I saw several people walking down Broadway with luggage, seemed like they were coming from the area of the Peanut Island ferry, what's the parking situation there? Or is there maybe a free or cheap lot a short Uber ride away from the port? I was on this cruise last month and am going back next week. Thanks for any info, gc
