I believe on the European cruises the prices you see already include the gratuity so you are limited to $12 and under not the 10 plus 20% gratuity the way it is listed on US and Caribbean sailings. Most menu cocktail listings are specialty drinks containing the premium liquor brands. Almost all basic cocktails and many of the specialty ones can be made using rail drinks and then would be included in the standard package. You wouldn't point to a $20 cocktail and say I want this because then you would pay the difference, but if you say can you make me a mai tai with the classic package or X drink with the classic package, they will either say sure and then make one using the liquor from the classic package or they may say no we can't because the drink may include a liquor that they don't have an equivalent in the classic package and if you want it, it will be $X over your package price plus gratuity on the overage. In terms of wine, you will tell them what kind you like and they will bring you a glass that is included. If you want a particular style that they have no classic, then they may recommend a similar red or white that would be included. My husband likes to have more choices in the wines and sparkling water with dinner and I do like a martini from the martini bar (which would not be included in the classic- you can get a classic martini at the other bars just not the specialty ones they have at the martini bar) so we usually upgrade to premium when the upgrade goes on a 30%+ sale.

I am pretty sure that is the same menu you can eat off if you pay for the lunch option for the excursion or the price if you have a day pass, either paying the resort direct or through the excursion and then you pay a la carte for lunch and/or drinks.

Then they must have changed it since last November without adjusting the price. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Some excursions (and onboard activities) are just priced ridiculously. With the 40% off I got the admission down to $29 per person but even at that I didn't think it was worth it so I cancelled and went with the 40% off swimming with the reef sharks on Bimini. After the excursion we rode the tram around and spent 20 minutes in the little shopping village but still had almost 2 hrs left so we swam at the beach near the ship for almost an hour and walked back to the ship from there to dry off and were back 25 minutes before all aboard and heard that after we boarded only 4 more pax were still at Bimini.

I believe the $120.99 includes all you can drink while at resort world too in addition to the lunch, but from what I have heard you can only get drinks from one specific bar and the service and drinks aren't that good at the bar. The $51.99 includes a welcome drink only. You can always get the day passes direct and when the sales aren't that good through Celebrity, you will pay less going direct. If you can catch a 40% off sale through Celebrity it may be cheaper than going direct. I can't see where you can pre book now, but I did last year when I was looking for our cruise. This is what I see now, you have to buy at the front desk. It isn't going to be any more than the full price charged by celebrity (but it may be more than some of the sale prices.) While resort world sets the prices, Celebrity adds on a hefty commission for themselves with wiggle room for their sales. When I was there last November the walk up price at Resort world was $49 for the beach package only.

Most cancel for any reason insurance covers 75% of the non refundable portion. The cost of the cancel for any reason insurance is usually quite a bit higher so by the time you pay the insurance and lose 25% I am not sure how much of a win that is for you. I look for TA that still have refundable fares that are comparable to Celebrities non refundable fares or I don't book until I am pretty commited.

I think you can tip in whatever is convenient to you within reason. The ship will always be able to convert it to USD (at a decent exchange rate) if that is what they want and can probably change it into Euro or GBP depending on the itinerary if that is what they prefer.

You will get double points sailing sole. He will not get the points if he is not sailing. They will status match. When you get to the next higher Celebrity captains club level, he can match your status. So if you earn 40 points on this solo cruise, when you reach elite at 300 points, your spouse could match to elite even though he only has 260 points.

For premium drink package including the gratuities?

If within 48 hours from creation of booking or if on or before the due date of final payment, regardless of creation date of booking, you can submit a request to apply the lower cruise fare or promotional offer to your booking as described above. --the fine print from the best price guarantee if you book early, no more repricing after the final payment date, unless you just booked within 48 hrs. In 2021 that wasn't the case and you could reprice after the final payment for the obc. In 2024, it sounds like you were able to do it at 91 days so it worked for you. That is the reason that others have said that once the final payment is due then they don't look. It is also the reason why it probably won't apply to the original person from this topic. They can always try to submit but it doesn't sound like the price guarantee will apply.

The description is Discount off cover charge at specialty restaurants. I am not sure that would be a discount off a dining package which already has a small discount as a package before they add any pre-cruise discount of 5-15%. Pre-cruise, they seem to have done away with the first night discounts. I haven't seen any of those in about a year. The captain's club discounts don't stack with other discounts.

If you want the socialization part of the benefit, then keep the 2 hour time frame but give $10 per drink over whatever package you have (rather than a limited menu). That way if someone without a package can get drinks of their choice up to $10 or $10 toward the drink of their choice. Someone with classic could get $21 drinks of their choice and someone with premium could get up to $27. As it is if you have classic or premium there is no point to the benefit. As a non alcoholic beverage drinker, if I didn't have the package I would appreciate being able to get a virgin daiquiri. I would rather have it spread out through the day but would be happy just being able to use the benefit for 1-2 drinks of my choice during limited hours it that is what it is.

Does she have an RC number? If so get her matched to yours as Diamond on RC. Once she is diamond on RC then get the reciprocal match on Celebrity.

If you are picky about location, you probably shouldn't cancel.

What cruise are you booked on? Have the prices gone up since you booked or are they currently still the same? What type of cabin are you in?

I don't think Princess holds things back. I think 10-25% of the people who have refundable fares booked either wait until last minute to cancel or just don't pay the remaining amount and forfeit the deposit. That inventory then comes back into availability. There would be no reason for princess to hold things back.
