Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. There are barbells and a power rack but lets not pretend, its very rare that any QM guest is lifting heavy
  2. Could you give some specific details of when this has affected you and who was the vlogger etc please?
  3. The current level of bloggers on ships has not reached the point where it has bothered me as I have never even seen one let alone the hoards that some on here seem to have been hounded by. Assuming that it does reach a point where it is a problem then rules would be welcome however they must be enforced by the cruise lines, which given the way that Karen & Co treat formal night and the way that P&O react, I cannot see happening.
  4. Cruise ships state the dress code of the night...but...
  5. What a curious collection of comments. With regards MSC Gate, undoubtedly the bloggers involved use clickbait video titles and hint at sensationalism but there is very little to get excited about in their videos and they don't show other guests on their videos. Being unhappy to be filmed is basically meaningless currently, you will simply have to be unhappy. Cruise lines and/or the law may change but today the only way to maintain 100% privacy is to go somewhere 100% private.
  6. WELL... I watch half a dozen CruiseTubers and have never really seen a time when they are disrespectful or inconsiderate to other passengers. Emma Cruises is my favourite and she films when other guests are not around and adds commentary at a later date. Travel Blog Jamie, Ben & David (the ones who left MSC after being told to stop filming), Cruise Buoys and Cruise Monkeys all talk into the camera as they film but don't really capture other guests. I also watch Cruising As Crew which is entirely face in camera and not filmed out and about on ship. I have not ever seen any aspiring CruiseTubers out in the wild and suspect that they are not nearly as massive an issue as some are claiming here but as time goes on I imagine that cruise lines will start to implement rules about filming. That said, dress code rules are often poorly enforced so I am unsure if it will make any difference.
  7. So is the general feeling here that Ocean Village were just a little ahead of their time?
  8. Expensive and higher cost are not the same thing. P&O are changing the type of line that they are. I’m not suggesting that they are doing the wrong thing, they are a business and must do what they think is best. I must do the same so will likely be cruising with other lines more and P&O less. I am certain they both they and I will survive.
  9. Including this I feel. I certainly don’t feel like a ‘keyboard warrior’ and the comment wasn’t intended to be anything other than a wee light hearted one.
  10. P&O getting cheaper when everything else in the world is rising in cost is giving me the fear. The market they are targeting is changing and I feel like I might not be in it anymore.
  11. (That is literally the opposite of Carpe Diem)
  12. It’s just marketing innit. Keeps people engaged and eager to book.
  13. I'll be interested to see your itineraries, how big is the ship you have on order?
  14. It didn't really occur to me earlier, but body lotion and face cloths? Is this really a thing that many people care about?
