  1. It was in the Choice Hotel Chain. I think we paid $65 and it provided transportation from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport. It wasn't in the best part of town--I guess. I was told there was a homeless encampment right behind it, but I never saw it so it wasn't a problem for us. We went to the restaraunt next door and just rested in the room. The hardest part for us was finding a place that provided transportation because we didn't want to add on the price of an Uber or Taxi.
  2. I did a day use in Seattle last year when my flight was 14 hours after my cruise disembarktion. It was a life saver. It gave us a chance to rest, shower get some real food at a restaruant while we waited for the red-eye home. It was much nicer than waiting at the airport.
  3. Have you booked anything for the volcano hike? I will be there with NCL in Dec 2024 but don't have that excursion offered. I found some listed through Viator, but it is difficult to find tours that will pick up at the port. I was hoping you had some luck and could give me some advice.
  4. Thanks. I have been approved by id.me and NCL even lists me as qualifying for a teacher discount. I had a cruise booked before the discount became available. I will have to call my CC to see if she can reprice without rebooking. I would prefer not to lose the extra Latitude points I got when I first booked. Was curious how much luck others had with getting a retro discount.
  5. Can you use any of your Free at Sea minutes or must you leave them untouched to get the discounted rate per day. (I know there is one less day if we upgrade on day 2.)
  6. You may want to look into GigSky Land+Sea package. https://www.gigsky.com/data-cruises I haven't used it, but from what I read it is cheaper than cruise WiFi. It is still expensive, but you don't need to worry about switching eSim's when you go ashore.
  7. Were you able to get your teacher discount applied to the two previously booked cruises?
