If you book after final payment date you can book without the drink package , there may be some good deals out there again

I've already booked on Brilliance of the Seas from Ravenna to Barcelona (fully refundable). It's the last cruise of the season prior to the TA's.  Unless something comes out better, I'll book its TA probably to Tampa.  I will already have flights booked to Bologna or Venice by the time after final payment on Celebrity.

Celebrity is pricing me out of its market.  I have one last cruise I booked last year for 2022, and I think that's it for me.  🍷

Publix has just announced that they will schedule appointments early tomorrow. We have several stores near us both in Boca and Broward County. Will add ours names to both.

If it's the Pfizer vaccine, how are they going to keep it at -70 degrees?  I just got my first Pfizer injection last week.  The nurse giving it reached back behind her and picked one of the 5-6 syringes laying there to inject me.  🍷

I do.  Over 400,000 have now died from COVID.  Suicide, as horrendous as it is, totaled 48,000.

So is it then your argument that younger lives are significantly more valuable than older lives?

The overall mortality rate is pretty much the same over the last few years.  I would venture to say the figure of those who have died from COVID is politically motivated.  It seems to scare people -- I see it's  mission accomplished.

You can't tell me John Glenn's wife who was 100 years old in a nursing home, listed as a COVID death -- I  would say she died of old age.  Hospitals get more money for COVID deaths than they do from natural or other causes.  When in doubt, blame COVID.  Let's get those stats up.  I don't trust Gov't.  🍷

What are the differences between the sunset verandas and regular verandas on the S class ships?

The only difference is the sunset verandas are in the aft end of the ship.  Stateroom size and balcony size pretty much the same unless you have an angled balcony on the hump.  🍷

Are these cabins any different than other S2 cabins.   I've stayed in the corner S1 many times and am aware of the "connecting" arrangement.  I was just wondering if the adjacent aft facing S2 is the same size/configuration as other S2 cabins.  Specifically talking about Equinox cabins 1665, 2148 and 2153.

Yes they are the same but some aft S2's have a support beam which may or may not be an issue.  I would choose an aft S2 over the config of an S1.  First off, there's more closet and drawer space in the S2's.  We've stayed in both and prefer the S2.  If you want shade and don't mind a little noise from above, pick 2148 or 2153.  Otherwise, 1665 has cabins above and below 🍷

Helpful hints if you do like to smuggle:  (1) buy the highest proof liquor sold because volume matters and you can use less.  (2) Double bag each rum runner in zip-lock freezer bags just in case.  You can put the little ones in your packed shoes for extra protection.  (3)  Do NOT put electronics or anything suspicious looking in the same checked bag.  (4) Order juice from room service at breakfast and put it in your fridge for later.  (5) Mix vodka with Kahlua and then mix that with the soft serve vanilla ice cream.

    HaHaHa.  #2 for sure.  🍷

The Constitution isn't required to define or list specific every current or future possible item, issue or matter of what "states rights" are, rather it simply states what the "powers" (rights, duties, responsibilities, etc.) of the Federal government are limited to.

IMO, keeping it simple was wise.  🙄

Here's the text.  Of note, the states "could have waived their rights regarding the pandemic, by not prohibiting the rights, duties, responsibilities (i.e., powers) of the Federal government."  They did not choose to do such.

Almost all wanted to preserve their own such powers under the Constitution "regarding this pandemic."

So, they "made their own beds" so to speak.

I do not intend to be critical, I just want to illustrate what many (not only those from other countries but (sadly), including tens and tens of millions of our citizenry), do not understand about the Constitution.

I don't even know if students ever have to actually read it anymore.  😠

They are trying to erase/destroy the constitution because the constitution says what Gov't can't do, whereas Gov't want to tell people WHAT to do.  🍷

Can anyone confirm that the bed is by the bath in this cabin, please?

The bed is by the bath -- confirmed.  Stateroom 1545 and 1543 is one module with the stateroom on the right as you enter the alcove has bed by the bath, and the other one has bed by the balcony.    🍷

@Wine-O Living in fear is not why I wear a seatbelt or don't text while driving--those things simply help avoid injuries. I get flu shots not because of fear but because they are a fairly effective means of avoiding a known contagion. Taking safety precautions to help avoid the most severe pandemic in 100 years is not living in fear--I live in less fear, actually, because I avoid indoor crowds, wear masks, plan on the vaccine when available, and socialize (at a reasonable distance) only with those who I know take similar approaches to their health.

Far from being locked up, we play golf, participated in a Christmas golf cart parade, walk and chat with dozens of people, and shop for both groceries and furniture, and do all of these things while observing safety practices that are no more budensome than that seat belt. Which has, actually, saved my life.

Sounds like common sense way of thinking.  If everyone acted like that, we wouldn't have any issues.    🍷

Your numbers are a bit off.  While the total mortality rate is between .4 and .7 (you were at the low extreme.  You are assuming that all that do not die recover fully.  Which ignores the information about impacts on the long haulers, as well as long term lung, kidney and neurological damage that data now indicates include some permanent impacts on a percentage of the infected.

I guess you just never know.  Can't live in fear and lockdowns for the rest of your life, or maybe you can.  😉  🍷

  12. Just to clarify, there is no smoking back aft on any of the M-Class ships.  Some confuse it with the S-Class in which smoking is allowed on the port side of the Sunset Bar.

There is smoking port side on Deck 4, midship, the pool deck, port side, and the Mast Bar.  🍷

why are you so eager to get the vaccine?  I thought you said COVID wasn't that big of a problem, overexaggerated, like the flu, etc. etc. etc.

It's not a problem for the 99.6% who get it and recover.  It's the high risk folks that have to take precautions.  I never said I was so eager to get the vaccine.  I've had covid and have the antibodies.  My only symptoms were a post nasal drip.    I'll sell some of the plasma to you if you're interested.   😁 🍷

If you are referring to the May 7th cruise that originally was May 8th    I noticed this disturbing cancelation penalty on the updated booking.   I  called last night and they could not answer why this was added and at this point they can't do anything they are moving me questions up the chain LOL have a look.

    CANCELLATION PENALTY.png

I cancelled this 7/8 May Ovation TP back in November of last year under CWC.  It was a non-refundable deposit, so I received $900 in future cruise credit.  I'll use it on a TP I booked in Apr 2022.  🍷
