This was confusing for me until I got it sorted out. Each time I called Windstar, I got a different answer. Just got off the Star Pride and you were allowed 1 device PER account. As we both purchased the unlimited drink, internet and gratuities, we each got one hook up with one device at a time. When I switched from phone to iPad, I logged off and logged in again.

Thank you. I stopped going top Aruba and Hawaii (no longer necessary) when they started this nonsense but I had already booked the cruise and didn't realize this was required, No big deal, just an annoyance. thanks again.

Working on my Bermuda Travel Authorization now. Do you have to do a separate one for each traveler or is there a way to put both travelers on the same application and pay one $80 fee? I could not find a way after a quick check.

We depart Boston for Bermuda on October 23 but arrive in Bermuda on October 26. Originally we were required to test up to four days prior to embarkation from Boston. (4 days PCR, 2 days, Antigen). Since we don't arrive in Bermuda until after the requirement drops, do we have to test? Windstar, Bermuda Tourism and others II've called cannot answer this question. Hoping for some clarity in the next few days.

I still find lower prices in economy but business class fares have gone through the roof. Some lines (Regent, Silversea) offer business class reasonably. If Windstar did, I'd jump on a French Polynesia cruise tomorrow! Found great fares for my going into Boston and out of San Juan cruise later next month.

I just booked a Star Pride cruise and found nowhere where I could make advance dining reservations. (We make many of our dining reservations online well before cruise time on other cruiselines). Have I missed something or is this feature not offered by Windstar. I was told to make your Cadre reservations ASAP. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for an excellent review. Just booked the Star Pride for an October cruise. Only Windstar cruise was the Wind Surf a few years. ago. That was excellent and I expect our next one to be too. We've gotten used to ships between 400-1200 people which are much smaller than the mega ships. Not at all worried about not having the "big ship" amenities.

I realize WI-Fi is location dependent when on a ship but some ships have much better WI-Fi than others. How is the WI-Fi on the Star Pride? Will be sailing east coast-Caribbean. Also, initial paperwork shows one device. If we both purchase the "All Inclusive" package, do we both get a device? (Oceania only allows one device per stateroom unless you're in a larger suite). Thanks-need to do some minor work on board and trying to check in advance.

I've only sailed Windstar once but have sailed many others including Regent, Silversea and Oceania. My opinion only is that Windstar is very close to Oceania which I consider the very best. Very, very close. Silversea can be outstanding but not consistently so. Regent is down another notch or two. Given the small ship size and price point, Windstar food is really quite amazing! Getting ready to book another Windstar cruise!

I've only sailed Windstar once in 2016 (Windsurf) and thought the food was somewhere between excellent and outstanding. For some reason, we've not sailed Windstar since. (despite sailing approx. 16 times since on Oceania, (outstanding food) Silversea, (usually but not always excellent food) Viking Ocean ,(great ship but food just a little better than Denny's) Regent, (pretty good food but not memorable) HAL, (OK food) and Celebrity (very good to excellent depending on whether you have a suite or not). We are looking forward to sailing with Windstar (likely on the Star Pride) soon so appreciate all the positive comments about the food. Also remember the outstanding service and overall staff our only Windstar sailing. Hope it's still the same post COVID.
