  1. Yes, they fixed it! The AC works (even w/open windows) if the folding doors are both CLOSED.
  2. IMHO you would be changed to prevailing rate
  3. Save your MONEY... Did a large cabana on Beyond and "service" was practically Non-existent! Cabana host/waiter pointed me in the direction of the bar when I asked for beers 😞
  4. More options on computer vs. phone app. Ask the Sommelier to pair included wines from your beverage package & tip accordingly.
  5. Agree w/lunch part... heck we don't even do in-suite breakfast! I feel that the amount of staff "running around" delivering & cleaning up from room-service breakfast & lunch would be HALVED if the MDR were open for both.
  6. Should be visible on your COMPUTER after logging in and opening the sailing
  7. Yes, it rained a few times and we gave up around 2PM but rain or not the service was very disappointing w/only three of the seven (I believe) booked.
  8. We booked Select a long time ago but early/late were, I believe, an option at the time
  9. They offered as well but I declined as it would have been from the MDR without the Super Jumbo sized shrimp I was craving.
  10. You made me double-check 😉 It's available @ lunch & dinner finecutsteakhouse-menu.pdf
  11. LOVED the cruise/ship & entertainment but noticed the following: Many "cocktails" were not prepared well. My standard of excellence is the Cosmopolitan Martini and we received more "Blood-Red" variants of it than I care to list. Since when does any ship-based "Steak House" not feature a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail on the menu as an appetizer? A large cabana was on my bucket list. Tried it, and my recommendation is for you to save your money 😞. Overpromising & under delivering is not cool... asking the Cabana attendant for beer(s) and being told to visit the bar was a letdown. He was too busy fawning over & servicing a large party of 8~10 guests in one cabana (4-guest max!) to pay us any mind. Tried all four of the MDR's which were just beautiful BUT they were still only MDR's.... nothing special food wise.
  12. I suspect that room service requests would be halved if the MDR was an available option. Several staff members running all over the ship delivering food/beverages could be better deployed.
  13. Are you talking Apples to Apples (i.e. balcony to balcony, Caribbean to Caribbean)? Celebrity is certainly more expensive but hardly "3/4/5k" more than RC for similar length, time-of-year, ammenities & accommodations. Best is to look at the per-diem cost for an honest comparison.
  14. I'm very sure that neither of you will be able to pre-book dining except for the first or second night. Remaining nights #2 & 3, and all others for the party w/UDP need to be reserved onboard so you will need to go together and visit a restaurant desk to reserve.
  15. I don't know what the answer is BUT surely "Overpromising & Under-delivering" isn't it!
  16. They're kinda "FREE" for those who pre-purchased/received the Classic or Premium beverage package when they booked. Even though Celebrities all inclusive pricing is now a thing of the past I believe that the vast majority of those on board have either the Classic or Premium alcoholic beverage package. The crux of the conversation was that it's NOT in Celebrities best financial interest to push the pre-paid/free drinks as they will make more money that way. More roadblocks to the "FREE" drinks is more money in Celebrities pocket 😉
  17. Yea, I get it BUT some cutbacks just rub me the wrong way ESPECIALLY since pricing keeps heading North while amenities go South. I have something for those out there who are always of the "It's what it is", "Accept the staffing cutbacks", "Cut them some slack", "It's due to COVID", to consider... I hope you're as accepting of the "situation" when your next car is delivered with vinyl instead of the leather interior you paid extra for 😆 😕 cause it's pretty much the same thing!
