Legend 7/16-7/23 - Lanyard

You mean like the one in post #6 ? YES

Looks like they are working on it now. The specialty dining option is listed; however, when you click on it, you get an error message...

John Heald posted this yesterday (7/31/19):
"Just a reminder that tomorrow - August 1st - you can start to make reservations on line for the specialty restaurants and Chefs Table on the Carnival Panorama"
I went to my bookings and the option was not there yet...

You cannot get a veggie burger at Guy's. You have to go the deli. The deli has all the fixings and fries; however, I like the fries at Guy's so I just get a veggie patty and take it over to Guy's. (was this way recently on the Legend, Horizon, Inspiration and Vista). Guy's used to have the veggie burgers (until late 2018). It usually takes a while (~10 min) to get the veggie burgers at the deli.

My first cruise was on the Jubilee back in 1991. Platinum in 2006 and finally reached Diamond status this year (3/31)! It only took me 28 years and 40 cruises to reach 200+ days.

PhillyFan33579 - Any details on what the changes to VIFP will be and when they will happen?

I was reading an article about Cuba cruises. The article suggested cruise lines charge an additional 30% (CCL), 50% (NCL), and 70% (RCCL) premium for Cuba cruises. Not sure how accurate the percentages are?

I had the same issue. When John Bolton announced the changes to Cuba travel back on 4/17/19, I called my PVP to book another cruise (glad I did) and was also charged a $50 per person "guest admin fee." I called Carnival and got the charge refunded. My only issue now is getting United to change my flight without paying $$$ - doubtful that will happen! (going out of Miami instead of Tampa).

Update - MSC changed my status match from "classic" to "gold"

Update 5/29 to status match - After contacting MSC again, they have now matched Carnival Diamond to MSC Gold...
-
I was just trying to point out that their "status match" does not make sense to me.
Carnival has Blue, Red, Gold, Platinum and Diamond
MSC has Welcome, Classic, Silver, Gold and Black
I have read other posts where the level match was not consistent (i.e. a Carnival Diamond person got "Gold" match)
I would think Carnival Diamond would be MSC Black? (Platinum would be Gold, etc)
Just my 2 cents...

I have been on 43 Carnival cruises and was considering trying MSC because of their "status" match promotion.
I signed up for the Voyagers club and my "Diamond" status on Carnival got me "Classic" status on MSC.
Guess I won't be taking a MSC cruise anytime soon... -
MSC matched my Carnival "Diamond" level to "Classic" Really???

I have the same issue. Workaround is to go to www.carnival.com/offers and enter your VIFP number

he luggage tag is still on the VIFP benefit list - https://www.carnival.com/vifp/benefits.aspx

Update - My wife turned Diamond on our cruise this past weekend (4/26-4/29). No luggage tag & dinner for two certificate in the cabin. I had to go to Guest Relations and ask them for it (another first time Diamond guest on the ship had to do this too). Looks like there is a communication problem with the VIFP department and the Guest Relations staff on some ships? (we were on the Carnival Inspiration).
