  1. Owen has done them all. We on the other hand have been a bit lazier. Enjoying having my feet up and relaxing. Goombay Smash and Bahama Mama has been ordered.
  2. This is how I would describe it. There were some in their Sunday best and more locals than tourists. It’s on island time, and the kitchen has to be small considering the restaurant size.
  3. Engage ear worm. Can’t even get off the ship. LOL Feels like Spock in the movie I can’t name at the moment.
  4. The name Fish Fry would have been the dead giveaway. (Pun totally intended but no one is to die) The pork chops are supposedly great. In all honesty the bigger concern would be if the same grill or utensils were used.
  5. This is about to happen. We were watching the game in the cabin but any real Canadian has to be at the ice VS watching it on TV. We haven’t been to an arena since Thursday so it was time to get back to one.
  6. A few photos from sail away sunset. Nicholas Cage’s house is looking rough. More of the super yacht. Someone has small yacht syndrome.
  7. So that was my day of new adventures in Nassau. We also rode in public taxis with drivers that I think used to drive taxi in NYC, with a side job of a nascar driver. We walked back to the ship and I have to say there have been a lot of changes to the port area in Nassau. New terminal being built, and better shade protection on the pier walkway as an example. Obviously I had to get the mandatory line photo. No whistles at me either. And after a great afternoon it was time to say goodbye to my friend. We did chat about getting “the band” together, CLR, Yorkvillian, Jarvis and myself. That would be an amazing cruise. And yes, the significant others would be coming too.
  8. I met some friends at noon on the pier who are sailing on Nassau. I have known them since the periscope days, but I’ve never actually met them in person with jumped into a taxi and went down to the fish fry to Oh Andros. I’ve never been before. Go hungry is all I have to say. The menu lIt holds about 100 people inside. Here’s a view from the front door. There are a bunch of different venues here but it’s the one my friends always go to. The food was spectacular and the drinks were delicious. We had a few drinks and way too much food. I had the fried shrimp with rice, slaw and potato salad. Jarvis had fish sticks (real fish) with rice, mac & cheese and fried plantains. The last plate was fish sticks and steak.
  9. NYE on a ship. My Birthday on a ship. It was crazy in all the right ways. We did pay for a special location but we are not going to debate the why’s and how’s here. That horse has been talked about. I will say I'm glad we did because I have never seen the RP so packed. I think the entire ship was in the RP. Many happy birthdays were given thanks to a lapel button and the entire Hibachi sang happy birthday to me. My face was as red as my jacket. By this point it was too hot for the red jackets. Don’t mind my singing. Hopefully the lyrics we right.
  10. This pulled up beside us in Nassau today. After a little bit of research, this is what I’ve discovered. The Andromeda is a 107-meter luxury expedition yacht constructed for the New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart. Launched in 2015 and completed in 2016, the vessel was initially named Ulyssess by Hart. The vessel was reportedly sold in 2017 to Yuri Milner and renamed Andromeda. The chopper left and returned while we were docked in Nassau. Stock photo.
  11. Thanks for the kind words. I’m glad that you have found the passion to cruise. I’ve always said you just need to be on board the ship to partake in the fun. From your CC name I think we’d also share the same passion for Mustangs.
  12. Happy New Year. Report to come tomorrow at some point. Wifi report now though. This afternoon. A couple minutes ago.
