  1. It was a unicorn. There were 5 available and we booked it at 65% off what they were originally price at. Once there was one left it went back up again. I feel for those that didn’t check the pricing frequently.
  2. Fishing spotting. Lemon shark, we’ve seen 5 already. We saw a sting ray but no photo. Thankfully the jelly fish are all gone. Needle fish. Grouper. Barracuda in this one.
  3. So now that we are caught up on last night we are hunkered down for the day at CoCo Cay. Way way back in September we booked a cabana at Chiil Island. The prices as we all know were just foolish. In the last 4 months we took advantage of 4 price drops which made it reasonable. We also watched the floating cabanas at the beach club the entire time chuckling. Well Sunday a week before we were to set sail we noticed a huge price drop and things got serious. They were now a few dollars more than what we originally booked Chill Island for. We cabana-upped. Look at us spending money in this case. 😁🤦‍♂️ Home for the day. We arrived at 8:30 and there are currently paid for empty cabanas beside us. It’s one thing to be “foolish” enough to spend the funds but the level of stupidity to sleep in just takes it to another level. 😜 Our shadows say hello. View while I type. I know you are all here with us in spirit.
  4. Let Samantha know that unfortunately we aren’t. Right now we are on Freedom next year for March break, if you need her encouragement for you to book a cruise. 😜
  5. Now that we are settled for the day at CoCo Cay we can return to last nights activities. Insert Wayne’s World flashback scene. We decided to make our donation at the casino. We visited with our favourite bar waitress Heidi. You might remember her from our previous cruises, in July and March trips of 2023. We each put in $20, and it started slow. I had to put in another $20 when Lisa was up. Heidi was doing some steady pours. Hans even stuck his head in the side of the screen occasionally with his words of wisdom. Lisa even hit some extra 5 and 10 spins a few times. I hit some 5 free spins and then 25. Heidi was impressed with Lisa’s spin. Look at those eyes of disbelief. When it was all said and done our 60 made 120 in under an hour.
  6. Many thanks. We have a cabana booked for Labadee and no notification of any changes yet. I haven’t heard anyone on our sailing say anything has been cancelled at this point. I guess we will see in three days.
  7. Dinner was at Port Side BBQ. 3 meats and two sides for each of us. After our lunch I’m thankful the tray wasn’t as full as the plate at noon. Day 2 and I’m close to full.
  8. Just chilling in the balcony taking in the action. That house still needs fixing. Those that know, know. No whistle today.
  9. Shane was able to take some time off and joined us for lunch. It was a great time and the food was delicious. If I had to pick between Goldie’s and Oh Andros it would be a tough choice. He and I each got the conch, shrimp and fish with rice and beans, slaw and potato salad. Lisa got the pork chops which were cooked great. Owen had land lovers burger and some of my shrimp.
  10. Lunch at Goldie’s was darn good. They had lots of inside AC seating or at the back covered deck with windows that open. The conch are processed right at the restaurant. There were even live ones among the old shells.
