  5. Thanks, stopped using my credit cards and don't want to use my debit card. That's why I got the gift card. But it's a solid idea.
  6. I plan on using a gift card for onboard expenses. A couple of questions: Do I apply it at guest services once I board or when I check in at the port? Second, whatever is left over does it stay on the original gift card or do they issue a new one. Thanks
  7. I usually get the Biotech facial and body ritual. It's a 50 minute massage and 50 minute facial combined. Love it and it's less expensive than buying them separately. I've seen it as low as $239 and as high as $299 depending if you book it for day one, port day, or sea day.

  9. So thanks to all who responded to my other thread about train vs plane. I took the flight option as I got round trip flights for $123. Flying into jfk returning from EWR. I'll be taking the cruise line transfers at the end of the cruise but does anyone have a recommendation for a car service from JFK to midtown Manhattan? So many to choose from on Google. I could take a taxi but want to keep my options open Thanks

  12. I'm fine taking the taxi. It's catching one at Penn station that gives me pause. I understand there's a taxi stand though which helps.

  14. I'd be too nervous to drive. Plus the parking is double the cost of flying and triple of the train. It's a ten night cruise.
  15. Have a cruise booked in Oct 2024 out of Manhattan. Coming from Boston area the day before. Can't decide between the Acela train and flying. It's considerably less expensive going by train but I'm nervous about catching a taxi from Penn station nyc. Any advice is appreciated.

  17. Check your vifp rates. I just got an exclusive rate on this cruise which was unbelievable! Ends tomorrow. So if you booked early saver you may get a reduced rate.
  18. The note above says check the departure board for the coach bay number. It will say Carnival Pride- Dover. I imagine the departure board will be easy to spot at the station.

Airport and Pier Transportation Barcelona Galveston London (Dover) LONDON (DOVER) TRANSFERS Carnival Cruise Line offers transportation services between London Heathrow International Airport, London Gatwick International Airport, Victoria Coach Station, and the Port of Dover on the days of embarkation or debarkation only. Guests may purchase transportation up to two days prior to their sail date. FLIGHT AND TRANSPORTATION TIMES Airport-to-pier transportation To purchase Carnival's transportation service, your flight must arrive before 12:00 PM on the day of your cruise. Transportation service will be provided between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM with transfers scheduled to run every 45 - 60 minutes. London City Departures Transfers from the Victoria Coach Station to the Port of Dover are located at 164 Buckingham Palace Rd, Belgravia, London, SW1W9TP. Departure is at 11:30 AM on the day of embarkation and at 9:00 AM on the day of debarkation. NOTE: Guests who purchase their own air tickets and are using Carnival’s Airport Transportation are required to provide flight information via Online Check-In no later than two days prior to their cruise date. The airport is staffed based on known flight information. Once all known flights are met, the staff is released and service is no longer available. Pier-to-airport transportation Return flights must not be any earlier than 1:00 PM on the day of debarkation. Transportation service will be provided during the duration of the debarkation process. The service will start at 6:30 AM and 07:30 AM from the Port of Dover to London Heathrow International Airport and London Gatwick International Airport. Please allow between 2-2.5 hours of travel time to London Heathrow International Airport and approximately 1.5 hours of travel time to London Gatwick International Airport. Guests are advised to arrive at the airport three hours prior to international flights. PURCHASING TRANSPORTATION To purchase transportation, guests can contact either their travel agent or Carnival reservations directly at 1-800-327-9501. Guests can also purchase transportation by following these steps: 1. Log in to access My Cruise Manager. 2. Click "Categories" located at the top of the web page, then select "Airport Transfers." 3. Once on the "Airport Transfers" page, make your selection. 4. After making your transfer purchase, return to Online Check-In and provide your flight itinerary. Guests who purchase their own air tickets are required to provide flight information via Online Check-In when purchasing transportation. Changes to flight details are the responsibility of the guest and must be entered into Online Check-In no later than two days prior to their cruise. Carnival is not responsible for providing transportation to guests who schedule flights outside of the service times listed above or to guests who provide incorrect flight information. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT After collecting their luggage, guests should proceed to customs and into the arrivals area.
