  1. Does anyone know what the price is to purchase the MedallionNet (1-device per day) AFTER boarding a ship after this price increase? Can it still be purchased on a per-day basis using OBC? Thanks in advance...
  2. Could anyone please post a link where you found this information from? Did anybody receive any email notification from Princess? I called Princess Customer Service but they said they were not aware of this price increase.
  3. My wife and I have cruised several Transatlantic voyages with Princess and Celebrity previously. We are looking at some interesting itineraries from HAL particularly with their Rotterdam ship. At a tonnage of about 99k, Rotterdam is quite a bit smaller than some of the Princess ships that we've been on such as Royal, Regal, and Sky (all at tonnages of around 144k), so we are wondering: 1. Is Rotterdam going to be more rocky doing a transatlantic voyage vs. those Royal Class ships from Princess? 2. How do the balcony cabins on Rotterdam compare to those on the Royal Class ships from Princess? 3. Any other comparisons that might be worth knowing? Thanks!

  5. Just to report back on this issue. We were able to purchase the Medallion*Net packages for our bookings by calling 1-800-Princess. We had to ask the navigator to escalate our issues and the next level up rep had access to help us make the purchases. Our MedallionClass App continues to show our Captain's Circle status incorrectly. They believed the issue was due to our bookings were created before our circle status moved up and they entered a ticket for their IT department. There's no estimate on when the issue would be resolved.

  7. I did have an issue of having two Captain's Circle numbers which was fixed a while back. My online account does show the correct circle's number, status, and cruise history. The problem right now is with the MedallionClass App which doesn't show my status correctly and doesn't allow me to purchase any WIFI packages.
  8. My online account does show the right circle's status. I had to make multiple chats and calls to correct my status associated with various bookings that I have. The website version of the App doesn't offer a way to purchase the WiFi packages. I've been waiting for more than a few days so it's time for me to call PCL again...
  9. We've been having a few issues with the MedallionClass App: 1. Our Captain's CIrcle status is not showing on the App correctly, it should be Platinum instead of Gold. 2. As a result, the pricing for the WiFi package on the App does not reflect the 50% discount properly. 3. Most recently, the WiFi package shows a message "No Plans Available To Purchase". We were told this was due to the recent price increase. Has anybody been able to order WiFi package on the MedallionClass App since Tuesday of last week (12/13/2022)? Do you see the same message of "No Plans Available To Purchase"? We'd like to know if this is a system wide issue or just for us specifically. Thanks.
  10. Has anybody been able to order WiFi on the MedallionClass App since Tuesday of last week (12/13/2022)? Our Apps are not showing our Captain's Circle status correctly. It should be Platinum instead of Gold that's shown currently. We chatted and called Princess numerous times and couldn't get this issue resolved. The last time we called about a week ago, we were told the issue was resolved on their end but we needed to wait for a few days for the right status to show up on the App. Well, it's still incorrect as of 11pm Central today (12/20/2022). At this point, not only is our circle status shown incorrectly, the Medallion-Net package is displayed as "No Plans Available To Purchase" for the 2 bookings we have. Is anybody seeing the same issue right now? Thanks.

  13. Regarding the Wi-Fi/MeallionNet discount for the Princess Platinum and Elite members, I received inconsistent information. According to the Captain's Circle member benefit terms and conditions, "MedallionNet Wi-Fi packages purchased pre-cruise will be discounted on board and the guest will receive a refund credit in their folio". However, when I chat with a customer service rep, she said I should be able to see a 50% discounted price in the MedallionApp for Wi-Fi packages. Can anybody who did it recently help clarify what the current process is for purchasing Wi-Fi package and receive the discount? Thanks in advance!
