  1. Laura & Donovan...here is a lesson in Nonnie's Math 101 :)

    76 days & counting...and I'm on the same cruise with y'all.

I do not count today, nor do I count the actual day of sailing because the count is zero that day...YIPPEE!!! Hence the reasoning behind Nonnie's Math

I was following Donovan...does that mean the cruise would have left without us???:D

If your number is smaller I'll go with it then!!!:)

  2. How many days until your next cruise?????? Hopefully it's soon, as I know we all enjoy time spent on the open seas.

I only have 78 days until my cruise, and I am already getting ancious to go. I wish it was sooner, then the time on the cruise would just crawl so it seemed longer, lol.

Donovan I have the same days as you...funny thing!!:D

Looking forward to Christmas decorations on the Mariner.

  3. Trainman-2:

Even though I have never met you and your wife Carol I am honored to have taken this journey with you on the Freedom OTS.

You opened your heart and let us experience some of the feelings you did along the way through your postings and pictures.

    Thank you for this gift.

    God bless you.

    barb in ga:

Sorry for the loss of your brother and thankful he got to cruise with you.

I am sure Jim has been an inspiration for you.

  4. Just dropping in to say hi to the No Ca posters.

You know I have special privileges from Carol to post here!:)

    She charges me monthly dues.

Great pic of the Mariner. Thought I had seen them all but I really like the shadowing.

Having been on it 2 times... it is special to me.

  5. My friend is a Mac person too and what is nice is the virus feature - if you guys find it a little hard, what more of me? I know zilch - really minus zero! carol

You just spend much time learning it.

Going into the Apple store for private time was the best.

I always start out telling those Apple Support guys I am not that smart so they know.

I am still learning all the time.

Carol it would be a great hobby to take on.

Gene got me the 24 inch monitor and you would love it for the ease of reading.

If I was not working I would look spend time learning how to do banners-logos etc.

  6. Help! I am using our new Apple IMac for the first time! I haven't used an Apple product since our old Apple IIE. Our old Dell decided to commit suicide and our son talked DH into getting this IMac. I just need to get used to it...

On another note - we crazy folks just booked the Mariner for a cruise departing two weeks after we return from Mexico on the Sea Princess. I just couldn't wait to see the Mariner for myself. :D

    I really like my mac.

At first I told Gene numerous times to take it back I was so frustrated.

To post pics etc much different.

    I like IPhoto.

We paid for the extra support and I went in 3-4 times for private hour one on one support and I called Support too as needed esp in the beginning.

The best news the odds of getting a virus.

    Enjoy.

  7. I am depressed won't get into it but you can guess.

I should be having a drink but instead will be having a special pie and ice cream.

We drove up north to this well known cafe-pie place if you are heading to or back from Flagstaff when we were going to the outlets the other side of Phx..

    Cherry crumb pie.

It is Amazing Race and pie tonight.

Hope everyone has a good week.

  8. Since I actually was driven backwards down Lombard Street in the 70s by my sober BIL when I was in my 20s I have special memories of SF. Northern Ca a wonderful place to visit. Love all of Ca I have seen actually though.

I like being one of the first on the ship. Then go the WJ. Walk around and head to the cabin at 1pm to drop off the carry on. Usually have had Roll Call Meets set up at 3pm on most cruises...Muster Drill and of course love the sail away!!

The best Muster Drill was on the Radiance last fall when our Muster Station was the Schooner Bar. So we had a Meet & Greet there at 3 pm and there were about 8 of us who never had to leave and continued to enjoy our drinks during the drill.

I like the Berry Lava Flows. I also like the Miami Vice half Pina Colada and Strawberry Daq. I never get them pre-made. The thicker the better. Yum.

  9. Sorry all are preliminary events to me until the ship starts moving. Initially you first wonder to yourself " Is the ship moving?" You just are not quite sure at first. When I realize we actually are in motion my cruise has officially commenced. Let the fun begin!
