We are just back from the Elation and Beau Tahana was rocking the socks off the piano bar. Matter of fact he may have went a little too far the last night as Security took him out of the room for a little while at around 2:00 AM. We left and went to bed, but I was told he came back and played even more.

 

In my opinion... He is not the very best vocalist I have heard but he does know how to please a crowd and Really likes audience feed back.

Barry Miller is very engaging and interacts with the crowd. He kept the room rocking every night.

 

If you are looking for someone to sit at the piano, play and sing all night. Dont Go! He will take a break from the keyboard and play other music while standing up and interacting with the guests and doing games and contests type things. This was a spring break cruise, and he kept the house excited and moving every night.

Music Degree was on the Fantasy earlier this month. That doesn't fit your criteria, as that does 4- 5- and 6-days, but if you're just looking to find out the names of other bands, there you go. And they could move around between now and when you're looking to cruise.

Yes they do.

I was thinking about a porthole room on the Fantasy, on the Empress deck. I noticed that it is right under the stage and the main lounge. Is there a lot of noise from that?

 

 

We stayed on Empress a few times in a PT and never an issue. Only time we had noise issues is when we were in the very front cabin and coming into port. It was always after we were awake any way.

 

You can call me a Port Hole lover too. Especially on the Fantasy class ships. Cheapest room on the ship (short of a 1A) and you can get all the way up to Empress deck for that price.

We are just off the Triumph last week and wondered the same thing. Did not ever ask anyone, but I should have....

 

Ours had a switch for the cabin lights, the bathroom light, and then that sensor looking thing.

 

If we left the lights on they stayed on. So I dont think its a motion sensor as it just points at the closet door and not into the cabin. :confused:

The Rennisance River View and the Hampton inn downtown have Park and cruise packages. They have shuttles, River View is free both ways, I heard the Hampton charges a small fee per person. They both are in walking distance. check out each of them.

I did this about 2 years ago, worked fine. I got new foil tops from a local wine/beer making store and refoiled the necks so they looked new. I BV now. It's not that expensive, and when you figure in the man hours doing the wine bottle trick.....

 

My thoughts exactly.

 

Last trip I tried to smuggle and got busted. Did get it back but not till last night.

 

Its BV for me from now on. In the long run, Its just not worth the hassle or potential losses.

All the pictures are BEAUTIFUL! I was so excited to look at them all! The only downfall is that they made me want to cruise NOW! And I have over 170 days left until my wedding cruise!
