Demodawn - I used the code last night and got a $19 dollar price a day for a car! Cant beat that with a stick!

We are flying on Delta from Albany for only $238 a person, including taxes.

Renting a car from Dollar. Input the code "KISS" and it brings the price down to $19 ($29 with taxes) a day!

Flights, what a pain! We are going from FLL to the port. BUT, I just found a cheap deal online at Dollar if anyone else needs a car.

Oh to win a cruise! How wonderful! Have a great time on the Liberty and be sure to report back. We cant wait to sail her in November.

Whats more cost effective? The internet cafe or using your own computer on the ship for the internet?

Our son is going to be 15 by then, thank god there will be other kids on the ship!

So has anyone ever done a poker bar crawl on the ship?

Heres the next question, do we stay the evening before? Or just travel down that day of the cruise?

What time can we get on her? We want to beat the rush and start enjoying vacation right away!

Im getting more and more excited ... and jealous of those of you who cruise WAY more than we do!

Im bummed about the smoking, as we are a non-smoking family. I hope its not too bad. It wasnt bad on the enchantment or adventure or grandeur. But now Im getting nervous.

Glad there will be kids on the ship. There was none when we went on grandeur.

We are going to hit both portofino and chops, as we love them both. But nervous about skipping the formal nights.

Im glad to know they have singalongs in the english pub. we loved that on adventure.

Now ... Im hoping the price of a junior suite drops down a bit! :)

We are searching for flights too ... looked air tran out of newburgh, ny but too high. hopefully southwest will have something reasonable out of Albany, ny.

We went to chops on enchantment and LOVED it. Hit JRs and Portofinos on Adventure. Youre so lucky youre sailing her so soon!

Kar .. that sounds wonderful! I dont know whats worse, checking the posts so frequently and getting myself excited or having to wait til November!

Question to all ... if we skip the formal nights and hit Chops and Portofinos will we be missing anything grand?

I was reading in the cruise dialies, and we went when we were on the adventure. Someone just has to go wait inline a few days before and get tickets. Its free, but they ration the tickets out because everyone cant go at the same time.

Whats the difference in a hump or a regular balcony?

We are going to fly into Ft Lauderdale (its much cheaper from upstate NY) but does RCCL have a transfer to the port from there?

Im so bummed to hear about the english pub. We loved the pub on adventure, while small, they had this great irish singer that did drinking songs every night!

This ship has both portofinos and chops? Weve been to chops on enchantment and portofino on adventure. We are going to try to hit both. We are thinking the formal days, b/c DH doesnt want to bring a tux.

Will we be missing something great not going to the formal nights?

We are sailing her in November, and I couldnt find a thread for "All Things" so I figured I'd start one!

Everyone who loves her, has been on her, is going on her, I (and everyone else who hasnt sailed her yet) would love advice!

Whats a must do? What can we skip? Where are the best places to eat, get a drink, meet other cruise addicts? How is the food? Entertainment? Ship itself?

We are bring our DS (then 15), will there be other teens onboard?

What is your favorite place on the ship for a sunset? A sunrise?

We have a D1 for the 3 of us, think it will be enough room?

Whats the english pub like?

We were on Adventure before, is the layout very similar?

Has anyone heard the news that the ship might not make port this Thursday? We are supposed to begin our cruise but Ive heard rumor that she wont be able to make port because of the storm. What happens when they shorten your cruise by a day? Do you get a partial refund?
