  1. Wow, and I thought it was cold when Sharon sets it on 68 or 69⁰. I heat up my side off the bed with an electric blanket before hitting the sack.
  2. Those are great pics. I hope we get the opportunity to visit some day. I never thought about it being so crowded but I can see many desire to see Rome. Great pic of the Grandson too.
  3. Have you been to any of the ports before. Would this be your 1st time on any of the three?
  4. Kenzie saw Caden climb a tree .... So she wanted up..... So.... She made it..... ......I clipped out the hands that were ready to catch her.
  5. There are very few Mayflies today. They had a truck out this morning cleaning the streets and the sidewalks are clean. The area I took the pic of yesterday is all cleaned up. I even saw a lady at the park sweeping out the flower beds.
  6. Thanks Dani. Grandchildren are a huge blessing. With all the love that flows from them it is a pure joy to be with them! I hope sharing the pics brings some happiness while you are recovering. 🙏
  7. That looks like it would be fun to play with. When I saw the first pic I thought it might be an ad for the new Icon coming out!
  8. Kenzie hanging with her cousin…… While the others went on a walk…. Kenzie making sure the others were seated before she drove off.. Lottie enjoying a photo shoot on the pier… As Lottie would say, Hey, just another day at the Lake……
  9. I love cruising in October. It really blows me away!
  10. This reminds me of a time I got excited watching a football game, jumped like Nate is jumping and I punched a light out! 🙃
  11. This is a fenced in resort area. They do a great job keeping the place cleaned up. Tonight was not bad at all. Last night was bad because the wind was blowing them in from the lake.
  12. Yesterday I saw this posted. I thought, there are some Mayflies out but not enough to shut it down. But when it turns dark they are really attracted to light. This is the sidewalk leading to the pier. It was covered with Mayflies.
  13. I was able to catch a few sunset pics from the pier last evening. I like seeing when the water gets choppy and splashing over the pier. The white stuff on the pier at the bottom off the pic is a bunch of washed up Mayflies. 3x zoom 10x zoom
  14. @dani negreanu I hope you recover soon and it does not get severe for you. Thanks for posting the pics. They are so nice.
  15. Around here they come out as early as mid May through maybe some of July. They will live in the lake 1 or 2 years but when they emerge from the lake they only live 1 to 3 days. At night they are attracted to light so they pile up around street lights.
  16. The Mayflies have emerged from the lake. They are everywhere. One landed on my arm while I was getting ready to post that they are here. Guess this one wanted to pose.
  17. I love radishes too. I remember roasting radishes mentioned here last year but I have not tried it yet. My radishes have not done as well yet this year. I may plant a few more when I get home.
  18. It can be a challenge but what you will like is the ability to use cellular at ports. It might not be the same with all cell phone services but with AT&T it had great 5g at all ports except Victoria where for some reason DW iPhone did ok while my Samsung didn't. When we left ports, if we were outside on the balcony or the Solarium, we could stay on 5g for an hour or 2. It surprised me. If you do that, remember to put it back in airplane mode.
  19. In May the only place we noticed low staff on board was in the MDR. We had a 1st time MDR waiter and 1st time asst. They were also assigned more than usual tables. It helped us decide to try the UDP on Allure. We also had an excursion cancelation that they said was due to the excursion not being able to hire enough people. So there are shortages of boat effecting things too. With all that said we loved the cruise.
