Ugh, I hate Diet Coke, I am really hoping there will be Coke Zero on the Regal Princess British Isles this fall.
Or ANY zero drink at this point.
Aside from Diet Coke, do they carry any other diet pops?
No idea if they will have it on UK cruises, but not on one's out of FLL this spring. Brought our own.

My plan was to purchase date/times for the sanctuary. I have heard that this books up early?
Have been trampled by people rushing to the Sanctuary. Princess should fix this, but yes, board as soon as possible and go straight there and see if there is availability.

What is the best way to get an early check in time? Do the times become available on some date/time and the first ones to select them get the early times?
Check in times are simply suggestions. Go whenever you are ready

Is this a Canadian only sale?

My offer was for a BD category standard fare, 2 adults. 15 day cruise.
They gave each of us $450 US OBC=$900 per cabin.& coupon books.
Same base fare as the Princess website.
Princess did not give us any OBC and still hasn’t returned my FCD from the Star cruise they canceled in April.
Thank you. I'm just making sure I'm looking in the right place.

It did not look like the packages were that good of a deal for my cruise- and the perks wouldn’t be needs, so I am good with standard and !900 OBC
I'm just trying to understand what I'm reading on that site. It looks like for a standard fare on a 7 day cruise, you can get say $50 OBC, plus $20/pp/pd OBC for the 7 days, which would be $280.
That's not a bad deal, and better than I normally get booking with Princess or my own TA.
The only downside is a non refundable deposit?

Are you referring about the annual 3 Day Sale by the one big agency??
Or is Princess also going to be running a similar deal?
Your description sounds like the one annual 3 Day Sale.... Don't know why Princess would also have a similar offer at the same time.
Is there no thread on this 3 day sale?

Probably a price rise, so that the Sale will show a price drop.😱
Yep, "sales" should always be in quotes.

but how much do you have to gamble per year to get this?
Enough for Princess to give you the room for free plus some.

Next summer I plan on using these guys: https://book.peek.com/s/b9eb0017-1a09-45ff-8667-e070a32ee159/1qb0
The problem to me with shared vans is multiple pickups and dropoffs, and if you are last, your 15 minutr ride to the port or terminal becomes an hour.

We had that happen. Disembarked about a weeks ago and suddenly got the folio in an email. System glitch/update probably triggered it.

Leaving on the Emerald Princess a week from tomorrow. Thinking about getting to cruise terminal around 10:30 am. Heard boarding starts around 11 am but cabins are not available until around 1 pm. Is it possible to take carryon bags to cabin when you board or do you have to keep them with you until cabin is ready?
We do this when they don't have fire doors closed.

I'm surprised many people.didnt know how tips worked and what they really were.

But, Wait.... There's more!!!! If you wanna risk a $99. deposit... There is the 3 Day Sale!
I have contacted a TA from that agency, and will be ready to hit BOOK if we decide. If it is a 10 day, then that should be $300. per person in OBC.
Yes, but are you paying $300 more for the "sale", cause that's how sales usually work.

Is a 1250 flight out of Fort Lauderdale doable? How does luggage from ship to home work on Southwest?
Yeah, easily. You could walk to the airport with that much time.

Any recent experience bringing liquor on at embarkation? Not talking about “sneaking” or rum runners for on-board consumption, but rather whether they will take and store liquor presented for inspection like in ports of call. We’ll be in Athens for a few days pre-cruise and just curious if it’s an option or if it will get tossed.
They will take it and hold it if they bother to check for it in whatever luggage you provide.

I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the gratuities made up the majority of the crew's compensation if not 100%.

While the noodle bar is a huge hit, I wouldn't be too concerned about the one restaurant, Harmony.
The bigger concern is what will they do regarding the Hollywood area.
Maybe a last minute announcement, a-la SUN Princess, about the NEW SANCTUARY CLUB CLASS.
Another ship without an Adult Area.
Just Sayin'
Yep, staying off those myself.

Is there a charge for the movies in the cabin?
No, and they have a decent selection as well.

Since they don't seem to check what liquids you have, I'm surprised more people don't bring beer/wine/liquor in their carry on's. All the various cans/bottles of water and soft drinks I bring on could easily have alcohol in them, but they never check or question it.

Bottles are not allowed on Princess, only sealed cans.
See the multiple posts including the quote: “Guests are also prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non- alcoholic beverages on board that are packaged in bottles. As I stated, "our experience". Saw many bottles of soft drinks and water not from Princess on the ships. Even princess has bottles they bring onboard.
