We took a tour to the red light district @ night & a walking tour with thatdamguide both were excellent! Also took a tour to Zaanse Schans was very interesting with lots of windmills. Took a private canal cruise at sunset so part of the cruise would be in the evening when the bridges were framed in lights it was beautiful. Loved Amsterdam! Enjoy your trip.

According to Celebrity's web site under "Cruise with Confidence" frequently asked questions;
What if a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) was used to pay for my existing cruise, and now I want to cancel it and receive an FCC under Cruise with Confidence?
If a Future Cruise Credit was used to pay for either all or a portion of your existing reservation, we are making it easy for you by combining all funds into one FCC. The value of the original FCC will now be added to the new FCC at 100% of its original value, plus the addition of any amount paid. Regardless of the original FCC’s expiration date, the new FCC must be applied by April 30, 2022, at which time all unused funds will expire, for sailings departing on or before September 30, 2022.

Thank you this is just what I'm looking for. Looks like the OBC is per stateroom not per person which used to be the case. Not much incentive to book on board when most TA's offer a pretty good OBC & same deposit.

Thanks for your excellent review. We usually book a cruise while on board at the Future Cruise desk. Wondering if anybody has seen what perk are they are offering. In the past they would offer drink pkg, grats, or OBC. Now that the "always included" offer is in place, what do they offer now?

Great review! Love the Edge ship, we sailed her the first year she came out. I agree with you re the ramp area of the Eden. I'm an early riser and would go there w/book & double latte from Cafe Bacio. The music they piped in was very relaxing.

We usually book a future cruise while on board. In the past the perks were drinks, gratuities, internet, & or OBC. Now that the "always" package is included with cruises what is Celebrity future cruise offers now?

Great review! The Edge is one of my favorite ships, reliving our cruise on her. Did you happen to check out the Future Cruise offers? We used to book a future cruise while on board because of the perks they offered. Wondering what they offer now since the "always included" perk is on all cruises.

We took a private tour with Elegantirishtours they have good reviews on TripAdvisor. We visited Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Giants Causeway, Belfast City and Crumlin Road Gaol. In Dublin we took the HOHO bus and an excellent tour up to the Wicklow Mountains, Powerscourt, & Glendalough with https://wildwicklow.ie/wild-wicklow-tour/ they have excellent reviews on TA. The scenery was beautiful!
Enjoy your cruise.

We did a private walking tour with Annette Henry Tours which was excellent! She was very knowledgeable and gave lots of history about the island. It was a very different walking tour than any we have done, she holds your interest. You can find her on tripadvisor.com with excellent reviews. It's a beautiful island we didn't know what to expect when it was on our itinerary but was very impressed and enjoyed it.

We did a private tour to the Giant's Causeway and enjoyed it.

We have done the bus tour from Le Havre with Celebrity. We were very happy with it since it was our first time to Paris. The bus was a large bus similar to Greyhound, the seats were comfortable and did recline but probably not as much as a airplane seat. We were given free time, a seine river cruise, Eiffel Tower and more. We loved Paris so much we are going back in June. Have a wonderful cruise!

We took a great tour https://wildwicklow.ie/ to the Wicklow Mountains, beautiful scenery! It was a day long tour but saw lots along the way to the mountains. Well worth it if you have the time.

We took a private tour w/Muenster Bus to the Ring of Kerry. They have good reviews on Tripadviser.

Thank you for a FANTASTIC review!! I do all the research for our trips with our next one being Paris, & London before & after our cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. I appreciate all your hard work in compiling this review as it has made my research that much easier. Glad you had a safe trip home and enjoyed your trip. Thanks again!!

Your review is awesome! It's making my research for our trip a lot easier. Thanks for taking time to post, I know it's talking a lot of your time .

Were you able to purchase your metro tickets at the station with a regular credit card or a contactless card? I've never heard of a contactless credit card. Could you explain what it is?
Thanks.

This is a great review! Thanks for taking the time to post it. I have a question;
At CDG airport did you happen to notice if there were "mini van" taxis? We will be a party of 4 adults w/luggage.

Here's another option; We took a great walking tour with Annette Henry, she gives a very unique tour. We loved it, it was one of our best tours ever.

I've been following several threads re Paris & London. I have a question for those that have been there and done that.
What areas of Paris & London for hotels, would be central to major attractions?
-
We had one of our best private tours with SPB in Russia for 2 days. They will specialize your tour according to your interest. Our guide was very informative and made the tour fun. Highly recommend them. Have a great cruise.

To those that have done the Norwegian Fjords; Is May or June the better month to cruise re weather (temperature, rain or sunny)? I realize the weather isn't easily predicted, just curious as to your experiences during those months.

We didn't see any type of a show in the restaurant while dining. There were a few Edenists that would interact with us if we held up the candle. We did but of the tables around us did. We dined and when done with our desert left.
If you are referring to the performance that they put on in the Eden Bar it is open to anyone. It starts at 10 and last until 11:20. You do not have to dine in Eden to attend it.
From what I have read it use to be 3 hours long and they shortened It to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
It is like any lounge act where you can come and go as you want. There is no reason to stay for the whole performance if you don’t want to. It is in a bar where passenger come and go getting drinks. We seen many doing that or just leaving to do something else.
Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
We had several short performances throughout dinner which included a contortionist, an instrumental, a lyric dancer and at the end a long lyric dancer. We did talk to one of the Edenist.

While in Tallin, you may want to check out the Midieval restaurant, Olde Hansa. Awesome ambiance, no electricity, really different. We did Tallin on our own, very easy.

St Peter Port - Guernsey - port of call information
in British Isles/Western Europe

Last time we were there we took a Guernsey walking tour with Annette Henry (annettehenrytours.gg) which was amazing! She limits her tour to a small group. Her presentation of info re the island holds your attention throughout the tour. It was one of the most unique tours we have ever taken due to her presentation. Highly recommend if you want to know a lot about the island. Enjoy your trip
