Balcony is great if you can afford it but I’d save my money for excursions too! Take clothes that you can layer, gloves scarves, hats, warm boots. Also find a great place on the ship that’s comfortable and warm, big windows, food/ coffee close by and camp out there…Alaska is spectacular! Don’t forget binoculars!

Thanks Oakridger, I didn’t even think it might be prohibited….. I think the best solution would be to take something like a thermos or yeti cup, fill on the lido before retiring for the night. Or would room service coffee stay hot from 10 until 2 or 3?

Thanks everyone, he wouldn’t want to wait on room service… he’d be asleep. by the time they got there. I know, I know. I love him but he’s not exactly easy sometimes! He bought the smallest keurig he could find and is taking it with us. problem solved!

Taking my older brother on his last cruise. He is on oxygen 24/7 and will have a scooter. He usually has coffee at 2 or 3 a.m. every night. He has a balcony suite. Has anyone requested a coffee maker in a room that doesn’t normally have one?

Thanks so much for your review of this room! I just booked it for my picky brother . He’ll have oxygen and a scooter. This will be his last trip I’m sad to say. He is still able to take care of himself but can’t walk any distance. You’ve put my mind at ease. Thanks
