Noticed that NCL Sky does a 4 day Havana cruise. Anyone know if this is going to be available in Jan/Feb 2018?

I'm not seeing anything listed for 2018/Just an April cruise. Thanks.

Last year after I returned from winter cruise I got a lovely email welcoming me back with an offer for obc for any future cruises booked by April. Am wondering if they have stopped doing this? I did book with a travel agent this year rather than going directly thru HAL so I am wondering if this is the difference.

I liked the BBC movie and the live orchestra....different.

We ate at Tamarind the first night to avoid the first night confusion. It was very good and service excellent. Wish I had dined at culinary venue but for some reason we didn't. Loved Billboards for happy hour. Two guys playing in Billboards packed the place nightly. I had excellent service everywhere. Sorry someone here did have issues. For me, someone serves me meals, cleans my room, and there is entertainment if I want it.....all good.

I was on this cruise From Jan 8-22. Gorgeous ship, excellent food and service, good and varied entertainment. Have just read 2 scathing reviews posted by members. Really people? Have been on many cruises on varied lines and have always had an enjoyable time. Think people who have so many complaints should stop cruising. Hate to see so much negativity posted.

I am going to be on the Zuiderdam for the super bowl. Just off Koningsdam and play off game was on. Nothing was done except game shown in crows nest.

Have been on other HAL ships previous years and they did a terrific buffet with munchies etc. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Seriously hoping something is in place.

No clue on letter meaning. I always book a guarantee and have gotten very good rooms. This time looks like not so much. We shall see. Have never been at the front on any ship and have been on probably 25 cruises.

Just got that medallion thing last year for cruising with HAL for 100 days.

Thanks. I am on floor 5 in not a fabulous location. Looks to me like VE rooms are on higher floors which I would prefer.

Just got my room assignment for the Koningsdam for the 1/8 cruise. I paid for a Guarantee VE room and got a VD room. Isn't VE a better room than VD?

It appears that way to me. Anyone be of help with this.

After cruising many times with HAL...even have one of those medallions!, am having annoying issues with 2 cruises I have booked this winter.

Nothing....not particularly happy with HAL who I cruise with a lot. Would upgrade me to better Verandah room but I would loose some of my OBC.

Would upgrade me to a suite for and extra $200 each...not happening.

I tried.

Going on zuiderdam in February. Paid $1399 for veranda room. Price has dropped to $899. Final payment already made but anyone have experience with this. Worth it to contact TA to see if line would upgrade room or offer Obc or just forget it. Have cruised many times but never been in position of such a large price drop.

Have been on NA before and love Tamarind. Think we will do lunch there one day and will take our friends to Pinnacle the first night. This is their 2nd cruise and first was on NCL Getaway and we all loved it. However, told them I wanted them to go on HAL which is a more traditional cruise.

We have done 109 days on HAL so we know the drill there.

Going on 1/31/16 cruise with friends who have never been on HAL before. On the first night, do they have 1 or 2 shows ? Recollection is one show but haven't gone to this in years so maybe things are different? Is it still sort of an introduction of who the entertainment is?

Anyone know when the "pick one of 4" deal is ending. I asked if I could have a price without this and the answer was no, price would be the same whether I picked something or not. Honestly I would prefer to have better price without these "deals" however I guess it is not to be. NCL seems to have so many "deals" going so sort of hard to figure out. :)

Ok...waited too long to book this for a variety of reasons and now only available rooms are inside and oceanview. Will book one of these as we have friends going on the ship and we want to join them.

Anyone know if there is group of something on this cruise? Have been cruising Jan/Feb for the past 8 years and have never seen cruise sold out at this time of year. Economy must be good. Thanks/ just curious here. :)

We were on Getaway last year and had a mini suite and you are right...just a slightly larger balcony room.

Ditto on specials and promos....could drive one crazy.

Not a big fan of beverage package/not worth it for us. We have tried it.

Just looking at Escape. The NCL deal says you get all 4 promos if you book a suite or a Haven room. Escape has mini suite and Haven. Is mini suite included in this? What about Spa room. Is this included in promo. Spa room is more than mini suite.

Also anyone know how long this promo is going on?

I was dealing with customer service on this. Emailed them asking them where I could find out how to limit things. They let me know that if I didn't want mail, I would not receive the Mariner Mag. However after reading some responses decided there must be a way online to select preferences...dah.

Went to my account and lo and behold, there is a place where you can set your preferences. I opted out of mail. Still hope I receive the Mariner though.

Emails work for me...would rather get them than snail mail. Limited though what regions I want to hear about.
