We got the FCC -significantly less than we actually paid due to some very creative accounting. We opted to request the refund.

Still waiting on a refund from a March 29 cruise☹️
-
I would make the payment & make use of the offer to cancel & get a FCC when it gets closer & you can make a more informed decision.

Agree with BermudaBound20. We are also amazed they are letting people off. I don’t think we will board today - we are both in our 70’s and it’s not worth the risk.

We got the email. We are driving up so it’s easy to adjust our schedule. Just a bit unsettling though. Also hearing nasty wind forecasts for offshore tonight 😟
-
We are supposed to board Anthem today 🙀

What is the current onboard price of the premium beverage package?
-
Just off Adventure in a JS - no curtain.
-
That’s what we thought - the fact that Oasis was new to Cape Liberty.
-
At the time we booked, the prices on Oasis were significantly higher. We actually booked an interior cabin rather than our usual balcony so we could afford the cruise. I have not checked recently - my TA monitors prices for me,
-
If cost is an issue, Oasis is commanding much higher cruise fares than Anthem.

We were on Adventure the first week of June and concur with the OP. We are usually Jammer eaters for all meals but have to say the quality, choices, presentation and temperature were the worst we’ve experienced recently. We finally opted for the MDR for dinner on the last two nights where we experienced a bit better food but certainly not up to the usual cruise standards. I will say that the MDR service was outstanding. In my opinion, we should not have to pay additional funds beyond our cruise fare to obtain a decent meal in a specialty restaurant. Unfortunately we are booked for two more future cruises on the Adventure - love the ship but I certainly am not looking forward to the food!

Halloween on the Oasis was amazing! Lots of cool decorations and a huge costume party on the Promenade.
-
Also just off a 5-day on the Grandeur and totally agree with Abrasive Anglo. I didn't have to pay for mine but it was the WORST internet experience I've had on any ship recently. Thankfully I did not have to connect to work on this cruise!

We always drive to our FL cruises from near Philadelphia PA. We drive at least 10 hours the first day - sometimes a bit more depending on what the traffic/construction was like - and finish the trip so we are in the destination city the night before the cruise. We have done the trip enough to know which exits we favor but if you stop at the visitor center as you enter each state, there are coupon books that might help you decide on where to stop. We always stop every 2 hours to take a stretch or use facilities and usually switch drivers - although DH prefers to drive and would do the whole trip if I let him ;p

On the Equinox in Feb it was 90 minutes of connected time. I was the only one needing it so being careful I was able to make both allotments last until a better deal was offered.
-
The package prices are outrageous for their very slow internet. We carefully used our "free" internet time perk and then about mid-cruise there were some decent daily special prices that we could work with.

Definitely do the mixology class! You will be completely amazed by Melvin DeMello who should be the mixologist who conducts the class. I believe you will sign up in the R Bar but the Compass should list that information on the day it will be held.

Do you have any friends who are into photography? When we did our vow renewal, I had two "almost professional" photographer friends who provided us with beautiful photos.
-
I have and will continue to do so. This is a much nicer outfit than shorts or tired, worn out jeans.

The Cozumel Bar Hop takes approximately 5 hrs. so it looks like you won't have enough time.:(
-
I was able to print my tags by using Chrome instead of IE.

Patycake - we will be in Cozumel in Feb. on the Equinox and I am very intrigued by your Humane Society Kiosk. I volunteer for a cat rescue so would love to see the kitties, but I also saw somewhere that you encourage tourists to visit your facility and walk the dogs? Do you still do that and how does that work? Many thanks!

We did a vow renewal on RCI for our 25th Anniversary and did it all ourselves using a family member as an officiant, booking an open bar/snacks after the ceremony and having a nice dinner in the alternative restaurant. Worked beautifully and was so much less expensive than booking a ship package. Our TA coordinated the entire event for the group.
Here is some really good news

I did get some funds refunded today, but the amounts make no sense. I’m waiting on two - one from March & one from May. No matter how I add up the refunds, they make no sense, but I do know it’s not the total amount I’m due. Hoping it will all work itself out eventually.
