Paradise Cove/Dead Man's Reef is a great place to snorkel in Freeport. 35$ they pick you up and bring you back plus supply the snorkel equipment.
In Nassau there is a walking tour. http://www.frommers.com/destinations...251010008.html

It is pretty funny. Make sure that you get there early as it fills up fast.
-
Where do you go to look at what they have to offer? I googled verizon vacation and it is only about cutting off your service while on vacation.

The TV's on board ship can not have anything plugged into them. The inputs are there but they have it blocked somehow. Tried hooking up the camera's in the past and no go.

She was our first cruise also.

Had it in the background now since 5 waiting to watch her leave. Wonder what the hold up is.

We have 2470 and 2473 for the extra space on our cruise next year on Splendor. Stayed in 2473 on Glory before. They are only 2 person rooms for some reason. Plenty of space for a 3rd person. We actually liked the vibration from the propellers very relaxing and really wasn't that loud. Really only noticed it when we pulled into port when they ran the thrusters.

He will be able to sit up on the window sill with no problem. When we don't cruise with our daughter we put our towel animals up there every night. When she goes she likes to sit in the window.

In Freeport check out Dead Mans Reef/ Paradise Cove. Great snorkeling. When we were there last October it was 35$ for transportation to and from and all equipment.

They are on conquest class ships. There are 2 with more windows and the ones in the middle only have one. Don't think there is a different name for them though.

Celebration was our first ship.

It's only listed at 55 million. I'm sure we can talk it down.:)

I still don't know if I would take it with you or not. Just because this VP told you you could does not mean that the screeners at the terminal have gotten the memo and may confiscate it. Things don't always get passed down the ladder. Just look at all of the different things that have been written on the cheers program. One person interprets it one way and another does it differently.

I agree with the posters above don't try to do it all as you can never do it. Check out the deck plans before hand to get an idea of where everything is. Take the kids to camp carnival the first night to their meet and greet.
Order as much as you want in the MDR if you want 2,3, or 4 lobsters they will gladly bring them to you. Or if you want 2 different entrees for that evening go ahead and order them. Desserts too.
Try brunch in the MDR also. Steak and eggs, eggs Benedict and other choices.
You can also get banana splits in the MDR too.
If they are on a roll call here on CC go to the Meet and Greet if they are having one then you will meet a few people who you will see occasionally as you are strolling the ship and can chit chat with. Or at least put faces to the screen names that have been posting.
Take the kids up to putt putt. Take in a movie at night on the Lido. They usually have popcorn.
My wife and daughter love to order room service late at night. Or go up for ice cream at 2 AM or later.
If you want to do the behind the scene tour go directly to the excursion desk when you board and sign up right away. They only take so many guests on this and it fills up fast. Usually around 100$ per person.
They will take lots of pictures of you but don't feel obligated to purchase them unless you really want to. You can look at them all week and decide closer to the end.
If you are only going up or down 1 or 2 levels take the stairs as it is sometimes faster than waiting for the elevator. When you get off of the elevator there will be a picture of the ship on the wall. Whichever way the ship is pointing on that wall is toward the front of the ship.
Hope you have a great time!!!

That has got to suck to plan and wait for the cruise and barely get out of the port and have to get medivaced off. Feel sorry for the person and their loved ones. Hope all turns out ok.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

These are pictures from the Glory I'm sure they are about the same though. Loved the room.

Google Earth is a great way to see where everything is at and how to get there. As Anita said there are plenty of things to do and see there. Don;t let all of the negativity get you down. You are on a cruise enjoy all that each place has to offer.

Where do you see red or gold on your cruise manager?
-
Breeze and Sunshine = Yes
Liberty = No It does not have the Waterworks. I believe it only has the 1 waterslide. I don't think any of the Conquest class have the Waterworks.

Oops, sorry you're right. I read the wrong line on my chart.

We have always had great table mates. Have commented on how they do it.

On our first cruise we used cash on our account they called us to Guest Services when we were running low. Have just used the credit card since that cruise. Surprised that they would let someone go over especially that much unless it was some kind of computer glitch.

On one of our cruises I had a bottle hidden in our luggage that was found. They took it and put a note in the suitcase that it would be available for pick up in one of the lounges on the morning we got off the ship. I did go pick it up and there were many many bottles in there. Had them all separated by deck with your room number tagged on the bottle. I'm sure that not everyone goes back for them not sure what happens to them after that. They probably serve them on the next cruise or give them to the crew.
If your luggage is locked you will get called to the naughty room. As long as it is a sealed unopened bottle you will get it back per their rules. So you won't lose anything by trying with a new bottle. Just can't depend on it getting through.
If it is an opened bottle or Rum Runner type of thing you will not get it back.
On the last couple of cruises I have just bought it from Bon Voyage and got the soda card for mixers. It has always been waiting in the room when we got there. But have never left out of Galveston so don't know their procedures.
Just carried a small flask around with me to mix my drinks (discreetly of course) without going back to the cabin every time. Still cheaper than buying drinks on the ship and if I want one a bit stronger no problem. My wife would order virgin frozen drinks and then add her own liquor.
The cheers program would be nice but there is no way that my wife would or could drink enough to make it worth while. Beings both people have to get it in the cabin if above 21.
Junkanoo or Not !!

Junkanoo is a free beach. There are places to get drinks and food near by. I think there were chairs there for rent also but not sure. It is just past the British Colonial Hotel. If you do a google earth search you can find it and see about how far it is from the ship. An easy walk though.
