  1. I just went to look at our Nov 19th cruise on the Enchanted, where just last week I could submit a bid. We still don't have our cabin assignment (booked balcony guarantee), so I went to look to see what was available to bid on now. It now wouldn't let me bid, which was okay because I wasn't going to...I just wanted to see if I still could. Maybe that means that they are getting close to assigning cabins and accepting/rejecting the bids that are in?
  2. We're on the same cruise. We booked a balcony guarantee, but haven't received our assignment yet.
  3. I've never gotten that! LOL I've never ordered from the TV, though. Did it bring it from the IC instead, I wonder?
  4. The menus are posted outside the venue earlier in the day.
  5. Even when the buffet is closed, you can walk in and get hot water and a tea bag. I've done it many times.

  7. Yes, there are green tea bags in the dining room, the buffet, the International Cafe and via room service.

  9. That I know nothing about, LOL I am NOT a connoisseur of tea. I plop a Lipton Tea Bag in, bounce it up and down a few times, add a packet of Splenda and I'm good! If I'm feeling fancy, I will grab the Earl Gray Black Tea, LOL

I have a Kindle Paperwhite and last year I wanted to download a new book, because I had went thru the ones I had downloaded and one was not very good. i couldn't get it to connect correctly, so I took it down to the Internet Cafe and the nice gentleman working there said that a lot of people have trouble connecting them, but he was able to connect for me and get the books downloaded.
  12. Actually, the unlimited brewed coffee, tea & hot chocolate is ONLY on the original cruise. The 15 specialty coffees will carry over until they are used. When you get on your second cruise, you can use those "punches" (like the old card) for brewed coffee, tea or hot chocolate if you choose. I always bought the card, but I don't like the foo-foo coffees. I just drink a lot of brewed coffee. I would do that and it worked out great for me.
  13. I have the attachment for my watch band that fits right on my Fitbit. I love it.
  14. I had booked an excursion for us for our November cruise and we decided to cancel it and book a different one, due to the time of the excursions. We had booked it with OBC. I was quite surprised that it showed up almost immediately for me to use for the new one.
  15. That would make sense! I know that I've read about it here and that there were rules, regulations regarding it. I just didn't know exactly what they were!
  16. I don't think you are allowed to disembark before the cruise is over. I know people get stranded in ports by not getting back on, but there is some sort of maritime law about it.

I have a gift card and I tried to call to add it to my OBC, because I was worried about forgetting it, losing it, etc. The CS Rep that I spoke to had me on hold for over 5 minutes and she finally came back and said that I needed to bring the physical card with me to the ship and have it applied. I guess I could have used it towards my fare when I paid, though.

  19. I don't think anyone said that TA is the only way to get great discounts. I think that the poster was just saying that, for the, the price discount is more important than having the control to call Princess themselves. I've done it both ways, and right now, I prefer to get the TA discount. Although each of the last 4 cruises that I have booked, I have compared rates going direct and with 2 other travel agencies.
  20. We really liked out travel agent that we had used for several years. She always beat Princess's price, as well as other agencies that we had checked. She retired during the pandemic and we started using someone else in her office. We don't like her as much as the previous agent, she isn't as accessible, but her pricing and the agency perks we get really are great. As for needing attention quickly, we can always get someone else in their office if need be, that can either get ahold of her or take care of our issue.
  21. We had a balcony in a room that held 3 when we traveled with my Dad. The third bed pulled down, but it wasn't above the one near the balcony, it was next to the back of the closet wall. I slept on it and it wasn't bad.
