  1. I'm not a wine, vodka or cognac drinker. Hmmm, the Princess Plus Package more than covers any alcohol drinks I want, I drink a LOT of coffee, but it is covered. It might be useful in the future, because we probably won't buy the Princess Plus, unless it comes in a package where the cruise is cheaper to offset it, then I could swap for coffee card.
  2. We didn't leave the comedy show, but we wished we had! It was the worst entertainment of the week. We enjoyed everything else. Quinton Greene? not so much. But overall, it was a wonderful, lovely cruise!
  3. We just got off of the Enchanted and we had to pick ours up at the port. We had selected to have it mailed, but there was some sort of glitch and several of us on the roll call received emails that it had shipped, but when we went on the app it said "pick up at port" and we ALL had the same tracking number, lol. Needless to say, none of us that had the bogus tracking number received anything. But, I have to say it didn't slow us down at all. When we walked in, we never waited in line. We were handed our medallions and we just kept walking and walked right onto the ship. Easy Peasy, no worries! Have a great cruise!
  4. Our LBD and Pistachio Dome on The Enchanted last week looked the same as they have for the last 15 years
  5. We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess in April with the Princess Plus Package. I had always figured that when we reached elite I would switch out our mini bar set up for coffee cards, but we will have them with the drink package. Is there anything else that you can switch it up for? We won't use the mini bar set up, so we were wondering what other options there are? Thanks!
  6. We have had a deluxe balcony with two of us? I'm not sure why you were told that.
  7. We cruised over it once. You could hear music until about 10:15-10:30pm, after that, it was super quiet. We didn't mind at all. Even at 10pm, it wasn't loud enough to bother us at all. But, it is quiet after 10:30pm and no one is in there early morning, either.
  8. No worries. Sometimes people come across rude or blunt on the internet, because it is hard to tell intent when we type. I know I sometimes do!
  9. I bought it the past 2 cruises because it wasn't much more than buying the cruise, wifi, gratuities, coffee card and soda card, because our fares were discounted enough from our TA. With the price increase, and possibly higher fares, that won't be the case.
  10. Good grief? Why so rude? People are discussing what they think of the rate increase and if they think it is worth it. For us, it isn't with the price increase. We don't drink enough.
  11. With all of the desserts in the dining room, IC and buffet, why would 2 additional desserts be a selling point? Makes no sense to me. We had PP on our Thanksgiving sailing and I probably averaged 1 adult beverage per day over the 10 day cruise. I did drink several Diet Sodas per day. Normally I would buy the Soda Package and a Coffee Card, so I took those into consideration. I would have purchased wifi, but my husband would not have. He also would get the soda package and would drink 1-2 adult beverages per day. We just booked an April 2023 with the PP package, but with the new rates, this will probably be the last one that we add it to.

Actually, I loaded my money onto my account, pushed the button and won $24 I tried to cash it in, but they said it wasn't in my account, it must still be on the machine. (I actually noticed it seemed to be having issues when I tried to cash out, so I left my husband and brother in law at the machine). When the casino employee came by to help me, because I reported that it wasn't working correctly, he said "you are in the middle of a game, you got a bonus." I needed to push some buttons to try to match them. I pushed several and I ended up winning more money, LOL I was up about $64 from the one slot play, LOL So, thank you, all!
  13. We are currently on the Enchanted and we have quite a large non-refundable balance on our OBC. I have read of people using it to play in the casino and getting it cashed out. I know NOTHING about playing in the casino or how any of that works. Could someone please walk me through the steps? I was told I play with my medallion, but will it use my non-refundable credits first? How do I get it cashed out? Thank you!
  14. We are currently on the Enchanted Princess and the Love Boat Dream is the same, wonderful chocolate delight! I asked and they said that it recently was switched back. Maybe not all of the ships have switched back yet?
  15. We sailed at full capacity with the medallion before Covid and had no issues with it. It worked very well
  16. Yeah, we are sailing on 11/19. I think most of us received the same email with the same invalid tracking number. Would I like to have my medallion so that I don't have to wait in line? Absolutely! But, it's a small blip in the grand scheme of things. We will get on the ship and we will have a wonderful time!
  17. Since you will have a different booking number, yes. You will need to bid with the new booking number. Even if you aren't bidding for an upgrade with the new booking, I would cancel the original bid. It's being handled by a 3rd party and I wouldn't trust that the info gets to them. I would cancel the bid and then cancel the cruise.
  18. I had the same thing. Maybe ArcBest is the shipping used to come from overseas and all of ours were in the same shipping container? Then Princess Cruises in the US shipped them out, but put in the incorrect shipping info? I don't know, I'm grasping at straws. As long as we can get on the ship on Saturday, I'm good! LOL

  20. We are on the Enchanted on the 19th. On Wednesday ours said that it shipped. Today it switched to "pick up at port". Our previous medallion cruises were all shipped to us. I was a bit disappointed, because I like having it, but as long as they let me on the ship, it will all be good!
