I got it about a week before sailing. If you don’t get it you can call them (there’s a toll free phone number) and they’ll process it when you’re on the phone. Much easier now that they don’t require you to upload the test results. 

In Bermuda now. You just need your test results to board. No need to upload anywhere anymore. They check them when you check in.

I’m assuming they were the same ones in Luminae for lunch today?  It got a bit loud in there. 
I saw two tall gentlemen in Luminae today at lunch, but I didn’t want to ask which one might be sailing with @DisneyJen😊

Keep in mind they may not have the wines listed. They were out of quite a few when I sailed in June. 

DisneyJen, we will be sailing along with you. I’m also celebrating my 60th, two years late and our 43rd anniversary as well. Maybe we will run into each other in the Retreat Lounge. 

Sorry to hear your cruise wasn’t great. We were on the Adventure in May and thought it was great, including the food in the MDR. I am sure it was less crowded in May and I think people can have different experiences one week to the next. Didn’t travel with kids and are retired so didn’t really need to use the internet. We cruise a lot so try to switch it up between a bunch of different lines. I really think Covid has caused a lot of issues on land and at sea.  I try to adjust my expectations accordingly.  

Not sure what ship you are on, but on the Anthem the last couple of cruises they were pretty strict about who was being allowed in CK.  It was actually pretty full at breakfast and lunch. Like others have said, you can ask and see what happens. 

I don’t think there’s any consistency in the policy. I had a price drop after final payment. They wouldn’t tell me how much they would give me in FCC for the price drop and they wouldn’t issue it til after the cruise was completed. Made no sense whatsoever. 

Lived in the area and sailed in and out of Tampa many times. Tampa sometimes has issues with fog. I’ve been on a ship that wasn’t able to enter the channel due to fog. The ship didn’t dock until noon and lots of people missed their flights. Not saying it happens often, but definitely something to consider when booking flights. 

I had the opposite experience. My check in time was 10:30 and because everyone decided to show up early the line was down the sidewalk and around the building outside in the blaring sun. So, I guess it could go either way.

We’ve been in a GS several times on Anthem since the restart. On the cruises we have been on D+ have not been allowed in the lounge. I witnessed a rather nasty run in between a disgruntled D+ and the Concierge over this. Anyhow, the drinks in the lounge do not count towards your vouchers. There was no menu and I think you could order whatever they had on hand, any basic drinks. Unlike on the Oasis class where the bar and Coastal are together, the suite lounge is far from Coastal so we didn’t use it that often. It does have a nice view and comfortable seating. 

The worst part is if you had a JS or above there are no available cabins to book on three out of the five sailings they are offering. 

On the Pearl a couple of weeks ago they didn’t have a Reisling which was available on the package (under $15 glass) but you could get the Chateau St Michelle for $21 a glass which is $6 over the package limit. I can buy the whole bottle at home for $10. I have never seen it anywhere for $21 a glass, not even in the city. 

Was on the Adventure in May and that was definitely not available to D+

It is an old thread but there are current posts on the second page. On the Pearl a couple of weeks ago there was a schedule in the room. I don’t remember the exact times but there were several every day except for the last day, there was only one. It was very similar to that pre pandemic list on the older thread.

Let’s face it, we are all taking a risk getting on a ship right now. There’s lot of people in close quarters. We all know it and we still choose to sail. I am double vaxed and double boosted, but still tested positive for covid two days after disembarking a ship. I’m a super germaphobe and avoided all crowded spaces such as the buffet and the shows, but it still caught me. Luckily my symptoms were mild and my husband never caught it from me.  It’s not stopping me from getting back on in three weeks. We can’t blame the cruise lines for the choices we make ourselves. 

I believe you can go down to the Promenade and get coffee and pastry at the Promenade Cafe and sit and wait til it’s your turn.

Thanks for sharing. Flying to Lisbon in December, have the buy one get one air promo, but I think I’ll book my own air.  If you read the fine print I think they are allowed 2/3 connections.  No thanks.

It is actually spring water. It says it on the carton. I believe it is from a spring somewhere in NY. 

If you are worried about inclines, there is a ramp from the tender dock to ground level. When we were there last week that ramp was at a steep incline and was difficult for people with mobility issues. Not impossible, just challenging. 

We’ve sailed Anthem several times since the restart. In March there were hardly any shows due to performers in quarantine. On our B2B Led Zeppagain performed so many times we started calling them Led Zeppagain and again and again and again. Luckily we don’t sail for the shows. 

We were on a 9 night in May and really enjoyed it.  Yes, it’s an older ship, but we thought the food and service were great.

Very true. I was on the Anthem b2b in March after the 15th and no D+ were allowed in the Concierge Lounge. I over heard a very heated argument between the Concierge and a D+ member that was not happy about it. The Concierge said it was up to the hotel director.
