We had prime rib on night one on Summit Both last cruise and this cruise. I have ordered the steak from the children’s menu twice and it was delicious both times

For those who don’t like the metal water bottles, if you are on the premium package you can get a large glass bottle of water

There is a kids club, as there is on every Celebrity ship. Whether they will be the only children on board is another matter. I suggest that you go to your Roll Call and touch base to see if anyone there will have children with them

Possibly. Well, probably. I had to chase down the point owed to me from August which should have showed up in September and didn’t. I submitted my screen shot as did you. The point finally showed up in October, the day before the expected 5 points from September did. Based on that experience, I think you are likely to get your missing point in November.

Spa cafe is breakfast and lunch only. the sushi place might be a good option for a special meal. It also has limited opening hours, though.

Layout hasn’t changed much. Tuscan Grill added to deck 3. Some staterooms added on deck 10 so spa is a little smaller. Library gone, replaced with staterooms. Try the Aqua Spa Cafe in the Solarium for breakfast. Although any breakfast can be considered a “healthy breakfast “depending on your choices. Plenty of fruit in the Oceanview café, for instance, so pass by the bacon and the pancakes and head for the fruit and you have a “healthy breakfast” there.

Yes the October 3 boarding in Boston left a lot to be desired. I don’t see another Boston departure itinerary in my future either.

Not sure where you’re getting your information, but there were five zeniths on the last cruise on Summit and there was a special lunch and event for them.

We will be two-plus hours late departing Boston. Pallets are still being loaded.

I don’t know if there has been a change in policy since the restrictions. In prior years I brought flowers aboard in Seattle and several Spanish ports.

We were told that today’s procedure was “streamlined”. I haven’t been able to find out any details and I haven’t sailed out of Boston for a while so I have nothing recent to compare it to. The staff said this is “better” and so will investigate in what way it is better.

You are seeing an artifact of an old reservation system but they have never been able to update. You do not reserve Blue, it is first come first serve. I know of no reason why Celebrity ?? can’t fix this issue, it has been known about for years.

That d—n Celebrity app is at it again. The printed daily program has select dining opening at 5:30, the app says 5. Possibly gonna be some unhappy people at 5…..

You should be aware that this is not the recommended way to change from blue to the main dining room because you do not actually have a reservation for the main dining room Lauren assigned table if you are in blue. Switching from Blue Main dining room for Aqua passengers is on a space available basis. The recommended procedure is to wait until you were on the ship and coordinate with the blue staff rather than just showing up at the main dining room. If you think about it, by moving from bleu to the main dining room you are taking up the space of someone who was assigned to the main dining room. They cannot go to blue to balance you out. So main dining room passengers can be inconvenienced by Blu (and Luminae) passengers who take spots in the MDR.

New improved back to back procedure in Boston—- I hope it’s implemented in other US locations. Back to back passengers did not have to get off the ship. We saw the immigration officer in the rendezvous lounge then waited in the rendezvous lounge for the ship to “zero” and then we were released. So much better!

They already do have the option—they aren’t exercising it but they already could if they wished. Their ship, their rules. If and when they feel the need to limit reservations, they will.

The announcement was just made on Summit that as of today masks for crew are optional.

Yes your reservations in the main dining room will be affected. You can opt to eat in the main dining room instead of blue but you’ll need to make new arrangements. This is best done once you are on the ship
