The all inclusive has three components. If you price them individually, Wi-Fi, classic drink package and gratuities then compare the total to the all inclusive generally the all inclusive bundle is cheaper. The wildcard in all of that is the Wi-Fi. If you really don’t need it or would never use it, then the simply sail rate might be the better deal for you, with adding the drinks and gratuities a la carte. It will be different for every cruiser so the advice to do the math is spot on.

I am pretty confident that if they really presented a safety hazard that the cruise lines would ban them.

While many people book specialty dining ahead of the cruise, others are more spontaneous and wait until they are on board the ship then decide to go to one of the specialties as a treat. Having the discount can be significant for that.

While not prohibited most people find that they don’t work very well on a ship.

I didn’t try to stream any music. Do you have the classic or the upgraded Wi-Fi package? I am going to guess that the upgraded one will be needed for your music streaming

You may have been lucky but you are also taking a chance you will get hassled when there is no need to bring your own.

There is no new Apple stock in any of the shops. You may find what you were looking for but it will be older models only until they begin to restock the shops sometime in the future. For your specific question, it would help to know which ship you are sailing on.

I believe that sodium in the drinking water is an urban myth which has been repeatedly debunked. The sodium that is affecting you is probably because they salt the food, undoubtedly more than you salt your own food at home.

The same topic is being discussed in another thread. No one seems to be able to find an actual policy statement regarding the prohibition of plastic bottles. While Celebrity does use glass and metal bottles for water, they do serve drinks in plastic bottles on the ship, notably vitamin water as one example. If anyone can find a statement in the FAQ or website or E docs that says that you are not allowed to bring plastic bottles for sure, it would be appreciated it if you could post a link.

How do you get along with the coffee, tea, ice, and such?

And here’s another thing …. Just what lounge would you be using? The E class ships have precious few indoor lounge/bar spaces. None with any out-of-the-way private areas, and no card room either.

You may have confused them by using the terms “ my time dining.” That is not what it is called on Celebrity. I am not surprised that they didn’t know what you were asking about, so you might try once more and ask about “Select” dining.

But AI is now optional on many cruises so there is quite a bit of money saved. and I say, one free cruise is better than none 😀

How did Celebrity handle getting you a replacement for the Zenith cruise?

So far there are been “impressions” and “suppositions” but no sign of any prohibition on plastic bottles on Celebrity outside of one sign in Vancouver. Other lines might do it differently. As of now there is no specific reference on the Celebrity website, nor in the e docs.
