Cortrans is $25/person to the hotel, $20/person from the port to MCO. They advertise $20/person to/from MCO to the port. It's a different charge to for our arrival since we aren't going directly to the port.

We've booked our transportation from MCO to LaQuinta Oceanfront with Cortrans and our return to MCO from the port with them as well. LaQuinta doesn't seem to offer a shuttle to the port so my question is "What's available to get us from the hotel to the port in a timely fashion?". I've never used Uber or Lyft before but was wondering, in addition to these, what other options do we have? Any advice or personal experiences would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance!:)

We had it happen on the Conquest a couple of years ago. It was a fire in the crew mess.

We haven't booked the shuttle yet as we need to make a decision on the hotel first but we're leaning toward Cortrans.

We are cruising out of Port Canaveral on the Magic in May, 2017. I'm in the process of booking transportation and a hotel 1 nite pre-cruise. We've narrowed down the hotel to either Homewood Suites at Port Canaveral or La Quinta Oceanfront at Cocoa Beach. We arrive at MCO at 10 AM and are taking a shuttle from the airport to our hotel so no car. My question is, since we aren't familiar with the Pt.Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area, which of the 2 hotels would have more to do within walking distance? Also any restaurants that are within walking distance? Thanks in advance!

I just wanted to update. I did pay off our cruise using this offer. The charge posted to our American Express on the 6th and the credit showed up this morning. Thanks to all at CC for sharing this info!

Before I make a payment with my AE I want to be sure I understand whether or not I can use this offer. Our cruise was booked 5/16 for a cruise in 5/17. We have a balance of $505 left. I'd love to be able to use the AE offer (I have loaded it to our card) and save $100. Has anyone used this offer on a cruise that was booked outside the window stated? If it won't work, I'll just continue to get Verizon or AARP cards. Thanks in advance!

Ocho Rios! We did a private excursion and climbed Dunn's River Falls, river tubing, shopping and beach time. Everyone we encountered was very nice and we never felt uncomfortable. Ocho Rios is one of my favorite ports!

We always fly Southwest and I purchase our flights the day the flight schedule opens up. I've found that most of the time I'll find one price drop up until our flight time and since Southwest allows you to change your flight without a charge I get back the difference either in flight credit, back to credit card or points returned to my account.

I'm really in the minority. GT is my least favorite port. While there is a nice beach and plenty of food and drink whether at Margaritaville or Jack's, I am really bothered by the stray dogs and the way they are treated by the locals. I did see that the Humane Society has a booth in the shopping area just beyond the cruise terminal, but it was never manned. GT is on our itinerary in May 2017 but we won't be getting off the ship.

San Juan is one of the ports we will be going to in May, 2017. We are interested in visiting the Bacardi Factory and seeing some more of San Juan. Can anyone recommend a tour that picks up at the port, goes to the Bacardi Factory and takes you to other sites.

We booked the BCH through Island Marketing for our April 2016 cruise. The deposit was made with a credit card. They sent us a confirmation that we are to print out and bring with us. The balance has to be paid with a credit card on the day we arrive.
