Both Verizon & AARP have $100 cards available right now.

Right now! Just got $200 more from Verizon.

We had 7103 this past April on the Conquest and loved it!

Just bought ours for the 4/15/16 Pride.

Verizon has Carnival gift cards available right now.

We were on the same cruise so it's fun hearing about someone else's experience. I did see my husband in your picture of the dancing on the lido deck just before sail away. Wish we were still there!

My husband and I were on the 4/18 Conquest cruise and turned Gold during it. We got to attend the party and enjoyed it. I saw the posts saying the party had now been taken away from Gold cruisers. Not sure when this decision was made but both my husband and I got emails yesterday afternoon thanking us for becoming Gold and I found it amusing that one of the perks listed was the party:p

We were on the Conquest on 4/18 and they had it.

Ours was a completely different experience than pusywillow's. We were on the next cruise after her's and we had a great time. I have to agree with the debarkation experience, very slow. I was glad we had changed our flight from the 11 AM flight we originally booked. We never would have made it. We found the casino to be very crowded in the evenings so we just played during the day and watched the Dive In movies most nights. As I said, Gembong and his team were great but it took a couple of meals to find them. Mike, our CD, was everywhere and made the cruise fun without being annoying. Based solely on our experience, we'd sail the Conquest again in a heartbeat.:)

We just got off the Conquest yesterday and used YTD. It took us a little while to find a great waitstaff but if you ask for Gembong and his group you won't be disappointed! It is the Renoir on deck 3 and we were always able to have a table for 2. We never waited for more than 10 mins. for a table.

Just keep checking.

SkiTeton - Ours came by UPS and we got them within a week. We had to sign for them though.

Just bought a $500 egift card.

The gift cards are back on the Verizon site. They're only in $100 increments and are actual gift cards that have to be mailed. There's also a small shipping charge.
-
I just bought $500 worth. Still a savings even with the shipping charge.

We have a 4J booked on the Conquest in April. I figured there wouldn't be a price drop as there are so few of them. On Wednesday, I checked Fare Viewer and the price had dropped $140. I contacted our PVP and submitted the form online immediately. The 4J that had opened up was accessible while ours was not. We were credited with OBC within 3 hours:).

Is there any site that will tell you how many ships are disembarking on a certain day at a port? We're going out of Port Everglades and are wondering if there's any way to find out how much traffic we can expect at FLL?
-
We finally had a price drop on our 4J yesterday morning. I called my PVP and left a message, emailed him, submitted the price drop form and called Carnival. I had an email within 4 hours from my PVP telling me they credited my account $140.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Looks like we have several choices.

Can we use luggage express that's offered on the ship or is a 7 PM flight too late to take advantage of this?
-
We changed our 11 AM flight from FLL to a 7:30 PM flight home after reading some threads on possible delays in getting to the airport. My question is can we take a cab to a hotel near a water taxi stop and check our bags there even though we won't be checking into the hotel? We'd like to explore a little of Ft. Lauderdale and retrieve our bags later in the afternoon then taxi to the airport. Has anyone done this before?

We are on the 4/18 Conquest cruise out of Port Everglades. We have FTTF so we could get off the ship with zone 1 so my question is would we be able to make an 11 AM flight with the ship docking at 8? This is our 5th cruise and we've not experienced a delay in disembarking before. Is this flight doable?

Pretty much the same experience as DKLI. We were there in early May and just chose a clamshell under the trees. No problem with airflow and it was warm that day. We'll do the same thing next time.

We are looking at a cruise for late April, 2015 out of Port Canaveral. If we can get a non stop flight that arrives in Orlando by 10AM, would we be able to fly in the day of the cruise or would it be safer to arrive the day before? We've never gone out of this port so we're not sure about transportation to the port, time, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Rethinking Carnival Conquest??

We were on her in April and it was one of the best cruises we've been on.
