True and can I say there’s nothing like having some pressure and strain immediately after boarding. Would certainly be nice if pre-booking were allowed with the packages, as it is when purchasing only one (not as part of a package).

We did a ‘port day’ rental of the Alcove on the Equinox and enjoyed it. Service would have been good had we really taken advantage of it— they checked with us several times. But we had the drinks package and it was so close to the Sunset Bar that we got our drinks there and actually enjoyed lunch elsewhere then came back. We didn’t use the Alcove in the evening, but could have. There was no proactive offer of fruit plate or water. We knew this was part of the deal, but didn’t ask and really didn’t mind not receiving. For what it is worth I had some concerns about privacy with the Alcove and while it is true you are fairly visible, we had no problems. I will say on a sunny, hot day some tenting overhead would have been nice. But all in all, not bad. Won’t do it again I don’t think but don’t feel like it was a waste of money since there were four of us. It made a great meet-up spot.

I searched for this answer but could not find it. We are 24 points short of the next Captain’s Club level. Our next cruise earns 80 points. Will we be at the next level when we board, or mid-cruise, or only after the cruise? Much appreciation!

I had written the Blue Chip folks about this and the credit is open; it can even be used for gratuities (if you have any credit left, that is)!

We're sailing on July 2nd, and again on December 31st. I had purchased the Perks Extra package for our July cruise, and even though the drinks package had shown an increase, was able to get the Perks Extra with Drinks for only $999.00 each. Sounded good to me! Interestingly enough, no gratuity was charged at checkout-- I'd understood there would be a 20% gratuity added. But nope, there wasn't. Afterwards, I decided I'd better add the Perks Extra to our December cruise but, sadly, all were gone. I'm not sure if anyone has seen any available anywhere, but it looks to me like they are perhaps changing/revamping the package and for now no Perks packages are being shown. EXCEPT... guess what? I guess while looking I had put 2 Perks Extra packages into my cart for December, thinking I might do them a little closer. I'd completely forgotten about this. But I saw today 2 items in my cart for the December cruise, and only thought about it for 3-4 seconds before checking out with both packages. There was a note in my cart that said, "Last Spot Available." Woo hoo!
