We were on the Island Princess way back in 2009 on an Alaskan cruise. We loved it. It never seemed to be crowded. We finally went on one on the new RC big ships on our last cruise and we decided we loved the large newer ship (only if it were empty!) Those new big ships are so crammed and crowded with people and are getting premium prices. Its like being in a sardine can!! We are now booked on a neat one of a kind cruise on the Island in June and we are very happy to be on a smaller cruise ship. If you want all the bells and whistles go on a large ship. But you should try a smaller ship sometime for comparison. Its not that we won't go on others, its just a nice breath of fresh air to not be shoulder to shoulder with people all the time.

My mothers recipe converted my New England husband to a meatloaf lover! 1lb ground beef, 1lb tube regular jimmy dean sausage, 1/4 cup of dry oatmeal, 3 pieces of white bread toasted torn up small, 1 egg beaten, 1/4 chopped green pepper, 1/4 chopped onion, 1 celery rib chopped, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon celery seed, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well put into bread pan. Put layer of ketchup on top and 3 slices of bacon. Bake at 350 degrees for 1hour to 1hour and 10 minutes. drain grease off immediately. Slice and enjoy. Very good results with this recipe.
