  1. If you have paid for air plus, you can call the air department directly. I use a travel agent but can call directly. This has changed from 2018. Now, there are times when it is better to have your TA go to bat for you, but you do have a choice of whether to call directly.
  2. Hunh. There isn't any consistency. We chose our seats with Lufthansa several months ago for our trip in September. It isn't ticketed yet. The seat selection was thru Viking. When I check my reservation on Lufthansa, the seat assignments show up.
  3. Only after they are posted in MVJ, which happens closer to the cruise. The 2nd cruise is over 150 days away and the flights don't show, even though the system has booked them.
  4. I just called them last week. Waited less than 5 minutes to be connected to a very nice agent who double checked my flights for one cruise, patiently answered my questions on my second cruise, upgraded our flights and spent as much time with me as I wanted without rushing. I agree; call back.
  5. Yes. Last week I tried to make a reservation and the system said the payment failed. So I carefully reentered my credit card info and it failed again. I started to enter it a 3rd time but decided to check my credit card online and there were 2 charges already. I used the chat function to get it straightened out and the agent sent me confirmation. It took several days before MVJ correctly showed the reservation, but all was OK. And Viking refunded the double charge.
