  1. Hi Larry, although I did not get pictures of the room, I did go see it, and I can tell you, if booking an inside, I would definitely book these rooms midship on deck 6. His room actually looked larger than my V3 balcony room which was on the hump off the mid ship elevators. More storage space too than what I had. He took pictures, but has yet to send them to me.
  2. Decisions decisions. We did have an excursion booked to Roxxy Beach Club through Celebrity, but it was canceled. So now, we will just take the water taxi to Great Bay Beach. When getting off the water taxi, I read for both, Miguels and Big Bastards, to walk to the right. Does anybody know which place requires the least amount of walking? Or, in the alternative, can we take a taxi from the cruise ship pier DIRECTLY to either of these places?
  3. We're cruising on 1/15, and today, I received an email that Celebrity canceled this excursion. Disappointed, as the youtube videos of Roxxy Beach Club looked very nice!
  4. Does anybody have any idea when these sailings are going to be released and what ship they will be coming to Boston?
  5. Does anybody have any idea when these sailings are going to be released and what ship they will be coming to Boston?
  6. Celebrity has their repo cruise which goes from Boston to FLL with stops in Bermuda and the ABC islands in October on the Eclipse. It is a 10 nighter.
  7. We cruised on the Gem this past Aug. and were in a club balcony right near mid ship elevator on starboard side and did not have any noise issues whatsoever.
  8. This is available to book now. It is not stopping in Bermuda though. Just going to the ABC islands.
  9. We've been to Bermuda in May, June, August, September, and October (mostly on NCL). September is our favorite month to visit Bermuda.
  10. I did post this on the St. Maarten board, but nobody responded. If you have done this excursion through Celebrity, would you tell me about your experience there please. Thank you.
  11. Previously, I had booked this excursion to Pigeon Point Beach for our Silhouette cruise for this upcoming January, but have since canceled it and decided it would be a nice day to hang on the ship while many others are off in port. I'm glad you did have a nice time though.
  12. We will be on the Silhouette in Jan., and will be stopping in St. Maarten. I just noticed this excursion listed and it is discounted 30 percent. As we still had OBC left, I booked this for us. I looked at some you tube videos and it looks quite nice and I did read some reviews on trip advisor, but they were not from people booking the excursion through cruise lines. However, I know that on Great Bay Beach, there are people selling stuff that can be annoying at times. I did not read anything about that for this beach club. If you have done this excursion through Celebrity or another cruise line, would you please tell me your experience. Thank you.
  13. I purchased the upgrade a little while ago for $13.99 pp per day and check pricing damn near daily. Today, it dropped to $6.99 pp per day. Check your pricing for 2025 cruises today! Obviously, I canceled and rebooked it.
  14. Been to Bermuda well over a dozen times. Usually don't book excursions for Bermuda through the cruiseline; however, with that being said, we are considering booking this one, as we have lots of OBC to utilize. If you have done this excursion, which beach does it take you to?
  15. We've done Eli's Eco Tour many years ago. We do have quite a bit of on board credit to use up, so we have numerous shore excursions booked through Celebrity.
  16. Thank you to everyone who responded. I'm going to keep our excursion booked!
  17. This Oct., I used MJS Transportation for me and my husband from Port of Miami to FLL Airport. I think it was about $50 for the two of us. Our flight was at 12:25 p.m. and we got off the ship about 9:15 a.m. Got to the airport in plenty of time.
  18. My #1 go-to hotel before a cruise is the Sonesta on FLL Beach. Love the location. I have also stayed at the Riverside in Los Olas which was nice too.
  19. Before getting slammed, please note, that I did post this on the Antigua board - with no results. I am looking for people's experiences who have done this excursion. I did read some reviews on trip advisor which mentioned lots of seasickness and also many wonderful experiences. I am recalling an excursion I did years ago from St. Thomas to St. John on a catamaran when I felt very yucky the majority of the trip, I am a bit hesitant on keeping our reservation for this excursion for Antigua. We will be in Antigua mid Jan. and I do plan on taking Bonine the night prior to the excursion and the morning of the excursion. If you have done this excursion, would you please let me know if there were many people seasick. Thank you to all who reply.
  20. Heading to Antigua in Jan. and had read some reviews that many people had gotten seasick on this excursion. We have this booked, and I plan on taking Bonine the night prior and the morning of the excursion, but I am also considering cancelling it. I am wondering if it was just an unusually rough day at sea for these people or if it is always rough. If you have taken this excursion, would you please let me know how your trip was. Thank you.
