Im just ready to check out of the Embassy suites Hotel in Miami. Lovely hotel almost identical to the one in Fort Lauderdale. It's nice and clean you wouldn't know you were in Miami except for the fact that you really can't walk anywhere from here. I'd recommend a hotel if you were going to Cruise out of Miami. Plus there's a $10 shuttle to get to the port of Miami. I used SuperShuttle to get here from Fort Lauderdale airport. It was $36 plus tax and tips. I know you can do it for less money with Uber or SAS or whatever but, I've used them before and it worked out well

I used SuperShuttle yesterday from FLL to the hotel in Miami. It was $36 plus tip plus taxes. It worked, the driver was nice. I'm hoping the ship does a transfer from the port of Miami to the Fort Lauderdale airport at the end of the cruise. It's a nine day plus a five day cruise all on the same ship. Navigator of the seas.

My suggestion is to suck it up, ask for some Duc tape, cover hole and have a drink with friends. Ive had zippers broken on flights and had my clothes flapping in the wind as they came down chute at airport. I understand your plight but you are safe and had a great cruise. Lighten up [emoji322][emoji322]

As long as you are an adult in room with your sister. Do not have your mom check in unless she is going on cruise - your dad is an adult - you will be fine- you cant trick cruise line --they would hold up ship for "missing" person and may kick you all off because of scheme.

Some ships have ATM's. Check to see if your ship has one. Also, you may be able to cash a check at the Pursers Square also known as "Customer Service"

Yes you SuperShuttle. Because the Sawgrass Mall is way far away even from Fort Lauderdale. Try googling the distance between where you start and where you end up at the Sawgrass Mall . The mall is shaped like an airplane supposedly, so you might need to leave some breadcrumbs on your way in order to find your way back to where you started. Ha ha

I live further north with only one flight a day. One out and one in.and have to go through Detroit in order to go anywhere. The price for my airfare is always high but not that high, unless I go first class or business class. Maybe you should check the airfare again and make sure it's tourist or steerage.

Actually Amex notified me of every charge made daily - Amex was keeping a tally provided by cruise line but real and final bill is the one tallied at end of cruise.

They typically post them daily on your credit card but they are only "pending"to make sure they dont exceed tour credit limit - however the final total real bill does not get posted until after end of cruise. That is the day your final cruise charges are actually debited to your credit card. Just keeping a tally

Last year I flew into FLL and took SuperShuttle to hotel near the Miami airport. I made arrangements ahead of time with SuperShuttle. Hopefully I can again this January. .

If you find one please let me know. SuperShuttle is good for transfer FLL to Miami hotel - I've heard, on day of cruise, some cruise lines will have ($) transportation from FLL to POM - i personally do not use Uber.

Chances are the patches may make you more sick. The ships today are much more stable than they were 20 years ago. Just get some Bonine ? Not sure of the spelling. You can get at local pharmacy . Take a tablet hour before leaving port and half hour before arising in morning .- not needed after that if you haven't had any problem so far.
