Feb. 11, Grand Princess pulled into San Francisco 9 hours late. I think she is asking if Princess will help those re-booking flights home.  Cost wise.  There was a medical emergency and rough seas that cause this delay.   

Grand is just tied up to Pier 27 and it's 3:22 pm.  Man, it's going to be a late night for all.  My neighbor, Grand's Music Director is getting off and taking Uber home.  I was supposed to pick him up at 11 am.  Things do happen.  He'll be home by 7.  They must of had a rough time coming up the coast.  

It's 11:30 am and Grand is still 75 miles out.  Looks like she has been sitting out there for hours.  

It was the Orange Label.  But the best part of the dinner was the 12 inch Decadent Chocolate Cake, with the Prosecco.  YUMMMMM !  

Just off Grand and celebrated our 58th anniversary with Maitre d' and HGM. Dinner in Sabatini with MionettO Prosecco.  Got back to our stateroom and there was another bottle of MionettO Prosecco.  We enjoyed it.

crhull, here a bit of info I got in November's  cruise.  

On our UST, we got the thin waffle pattern robes.

Was on Majestic for it's Maiden Voyage from Singapore to Shanghai and it was played on our 9 Ports of Call.  As we sail away, cheers were heard from the Pier and onboard the ship.  The ship's Second Watch Officer Grant was responsible to play it three times and he said he had a blast, every time he did it.  

Many Thanks for the Ship Officers names.  Your the BEST.   Also, thanks for those movie names, and I have not seen any of them.  Your daily tidbits are much welcome.

Just heard from Grand's music director that Cruise Director Kevin Tugwell left two weeks ago and Steve Campbell will be our Cruise Director for the Dec. 28th Hawaii Cruise and the next 4 months.  Grand also got a new Executive Chef Johan Antes and a New Maitre d', who is the first female in Princess 18 ships fleet.  She is Oana Ionica.  On our Grand April 2019 Hawaii cruise, she was then the Ass't Maitre d' Hotel.  

So sorry to hear you did not get assistance during your In-Transit check-in procedure.  We were on Grand Princess doing the Cal Coastal and Hawaii B2B on November 3, 2019 out of San Francisco.  There were 28 of us doing the B2B.  The ship was having a large crew Turn Over and in our B2B group, one lady needed wheel chair assistance.  So it happens the Captain's wife Amy was in our group.  Because of the short staffing (no crew available), she stepped up to assist pushing of the wheel chair, with Captain John Harry Smith walking by her side as we went down the switch back ramp into the Cruise Terminal to the Immigration Officer for a facial I.D.  We all returned as the Captain's wife pushed the wheel chair up the ramp to reenter the ship.  That's a class act.  Three cheers and a big "BRAVO ZULU" to the Captain's wife Amy.  HOO RAH !!!!

Yes, the plain Croissant were buttery and light, though, they seem a bit smaller in size.

I forgot to post the photo of the Pistachio Croissant.  It was only okay, cause the pistachio was too soft.  I like the hot monkey bread and the peanut butter cup the best.  The Almond Croissant is still my favorite.

The cruise before our's, they installed  "On Demand TV" in your staterooms.  There is over 60 more movies available, along with many TV Program Series  and a Music Listening option. 

The August 14th was a 10 days Alaska Cruise taken by my neighbor Simon.  I'm going on Grand this Tuesday, Sept 13th for the same 10 days out of San Francisco.  I doubt they do much changes to the scheduled movies until the end of the Alaskan Cruising Season, which is one more 10 days Alaskan Cruise and then it starts the Mexican Riviera Season.
