I've had similar drying problems on Deck 5 dryers, but on Deck 10, those machines were newer, and worked out fine.

Thanks for the Day 2 Patters....

"BRAVO ZULU", job Well Done to you, Mikado & Cougaraz. I felt I was cruising with you two, but I was still hungry. This has been the most complete on going coverage of any cruise I've ever read. THANKS. I'll be boarding Grand one week from today, so I'm primed and ready to go.

Hi Andi, you are right on about those measly little crab cakes, but at Tracey King Crab Shack, I was paying 18 bucks for those. I had one of this King Crab Leg and it was scrumptious, and it was only $28.

Did either of you get to taste the Crab Cakes offered at the Salty Dog Grill? The recipe is suppose to be from the Tracy King Crab Shack, in Juneau. Thanks.

Maite d' Luigi retired a year ago. The two current Maitre d' are Joachim Rothe (Germany) and very new Carlos S. Da Rosa.

Always eat in the Main Dining room on the first night, I order the End Cut Prime rib. Outside is crusty/salty and the other side is rear/pink. Out of 8 cruises, I've returned it once. I was over-medium rear.

63 SS, Here's my sample from our Alaska's 2018 cruise. I've use this format for the last 5 years. Invite .pdf

Cougars, are they doing the Totem Pole Carving in the Atrium on this cruise?
-
I second that. The Triple Smoke Burger is made with Smoked Bacon Jam, a slice of Smoked Gouda Cheese and Caramelized BBQ Onion Sauce. Also a great burger.... and NO charge at that.

Mikado, My work buddy just return from Alaska, on Grand and gave me his Princess Patters, for July 5 to 14th. Formal Nights are on the 3rd day (or second Sea Day) and on the 8th day (or 3rd Sea Day-before Victoria). No where is the Crab Shack mention. Maybe, many will go to the famous Tracy's King Crab Shack in Juneau ! He said they were serving Crab Cakes up in the Salty Dog Grill, Deck 14. When we were on Grand, just after the dry dock back in early April, the Salty Dog Grill was just getting up to steam, with a new menus. I tried everything they offered and there were winners and maybe one miss. My favorite was the Triple Smoked Burger. NO CHARGE......made with Smoked Bacon Jam, Sliced Smoked Gouda Cheese and Carmelized BBQ Onion Sauce. Stan

Last year we used "Impark Waterfront Plaza Garage" located at 80 Francisco Street. They now charge $18.00 per day and here is their reservation telephone number-- 415-398-4162. Cruise Parking is on the top floor, level 6. It's just 1 and 1/2 block away from Pier 27. I will drop my wife and luggage off and it take about 20 minutes to walk back to Pier 27. We now use a neighbor.
