 We spent one night after a Windstar cruise 2019 at the UNA Hotel near the train terminal, loved it! a quick train trip to the airport the next day. Nice restaurants with the best gluten free pizza crust I have had!!

We have been to a lot to the places on the shows, love it!!  I am going to try the zucchini (https://www.maricruzavalos.com/spaghetti-alla-nerano-fried-zucchini-pasta) they used a different oil, but have started making the Cacio e Pepe once a week!

"Four weeks in France - what a luxury!

I think that when we get back to traveling we will take more land-based trips and fewer cruises, at least to Europe. We've been doing more and more DIY trips there in recent years and enjoy doing things at our own pace."

We have rented an apartment  in Paris with a kitchen so I could take classes at Le Cordon Bleu.

This morning in NH about -16 C and snow is on the way!

I got the first dose of the Pfizer Vaccine today here in NH.  It was a drive through and it was wicked cold.  I felt sorry for the National Guard and local fire department running this!

NH is now in phase 1B and I was able to schedule my first shot for Friday!!!!

Our December vacation is going to be a train and hotel trip (we can cancel the hotels without penalty)! Over the years we have spent a lot of time in the Netherlands at different times of the year due my husband's work including many Dec. river cruises and other do it yourself trips.  This said we have never seen Amsterdam in Dec. now adding in Brussels, Bruges and Ghent! I will be able to see Bruges at night!!! I hope the vaccine is in effect by December. We lost two very nice vacations last year plus a trip to Bonaire.

We have gone on 4 Christmas market trips, one lock broken, one low water issue but no snow storms! We did come home to a snow storm spent the night in Boston!  Spring is nice but I remember one couple from the south that had no idea the temps tulips bloom, they thought they were freezing!
