It looks like we're in the same boat (oops, that wasn't intended). I tend to think as you do, that there is some covering but I just can't be sure. I guess it's possible that they're completely open as some of the other Princess balconies.

Let's hope someone will be able to help us out.

I've been looking for information and pictures and have found very little.

A major concern ... Is the balcony covered? Sensitive to sun. Spending too much time with the dermatologist.

Pictures would be great.

I tried to use a next cruise while using a tuesday special. My TA told me they were not compatible and I couldn't use it. Anyone else run into this?

I am another one that uses Photobucket. It is quick and easy and I have stored lots of photos. Such as a picture of me with my 1st grade class :)

While on Mercury last month I had a conversation with the Captain who was previously on Infinity about the pod problems. He said they have finally solved the problems with the pods. I know we haven't heard of any problems recently so perhaps it's true that they have found a solution.

I've had that same conversation with more than one captain and also with a chief engineer at dinner. I had the same response too.

Sorry I came upon this thread late but am thouroughly enjoying sharing your adventure.

I was surprised to se that the front desk was distributing Meclizine. I thought it was a prescription only medication. Is there a charge for it or is complimentary?

My husband and I are sailing on Noordam 9/23 (Alaska); just received my cruise docs and we are waitlisted on both early and late seating. Just talked to my TA and if things don't change, I'm in "as you wish dining"-I think our cruise is SOLD OUT. I booked 5 months ago and thought we were all set for late dining. How disappointing! If I had wanted as you wish dining, I would have booked NCL to Alaska. Any thoughts? I tried to do a search but I keep getting an error message today.

 

Any experience on HA with this new dining concept?

Sounds more like "as dictated dining".

Stern balconies are larger.
